Platoon done, didn't have the time or energy to update about the week before this one, so i'll just do a brief entry of the past events.

Platoon field camp was not too bad, but it shows that alot of organisation and pre-planning was required for a successful mission. It taught me many other important things, and all the small details on how to execute the drills properly. Sleep time was not too bad for an outfield training, so i couldn't complain much on that too.

Last sunday was my live firing. A horror for me as well, slept 2.5 hours the night before, and didn't even sleep the night after, in the end i ended up with only 3-4 hours of sleep in those 3 days. Nothing much really happened in camp after that. Now we have to prepare for our overseas trip, it's coming soon already, and i have no time to do stuff !

Ok, sorry for not updating as often as i liked, as i just had section training, and i was very very very busy with stuff so much so that my bookout time was mainly all sleeping. After national day, we proceeded with lessons on section training and moving on to field camp again. During this time i couldn't help but think about Guojie's hell week and whether hes all right now or not, as the tekan he go through is many times more that what i receive.

During section training that bookout before section field camp i kena guard duty and i foolishly did not sleep and watched all the crap television shows, and i ended up with only 4 hours of sleep. Add the 7 hours from the previous 2 nights due to floatation and another 7 hours for the next 4 days due to field camp and recovery. That got me so feverish before i headed home for a 12 hour sleep, which left me with like 1-3 hours before i have to book in again. Hence i didn't update, no more energy left. Then i booked in for live firing and that night we slept for like 1 hour 30 minutes again. Indeed, sleep is very important man.

Now the course is getting into the tougher phases, and even the instructors don't wanna come down too hard on us for fear or overkilling us with too much stuff. This is the part where everyone has got to focus, be careful and don't slacken. The good thing is that the training is fun and different, which i do prefer as to infantry where walking is everything and the drills are not so 'action-packed'.

Anyway today is a good day, had happy hour, w00ts. Downed 4 cans of beer for the night, been a long long time since i've ever touched beer. We had some music and good singing too.

Ok i'm gonna die soon, platoon training starting soon, then another 'hellish' week again, gonna sleep less than 20 hours for the whole week. If i suddenly disappear again i'm so sorry, as much as i want to update the blog i don't have the energy.

Long time since i blogged, yes i know, have been busy and laziness has been getting into me. Lots and lots of stuff done in the past few weeks or months. Basically i wanna try to blog more often to store all my memories of what i actually did in NS. Let me try to update what i've been doing from the last updated post till now. Been quite a while now, but i'll try to recall all the stuff i did.

Basically from march all the way till mid july i did my common leadership module and service term, in Ocs. I've learnt the basics to infantry and a little here and a little there, etc etc, and finally finished with the 24km route march and the senior [3 bar] presentation ceremony on that hill. That was the first time i ever slept standing up, same goes for the rest, many were just falling forward during the whole ceremony.

Then I received my posting, heading to Armour after service term to continue my pro term.

Then with a 2 and a half day break, SAF so nicely decided to send us to Brunei for some training. In the jungles there you see real and uninterurrupted forests and wildlife, along with real slopes and for the first time i understood what my BMT instructors said when water was precious. We did alot of very fun stuff there too, and the R&R was reasonable, at least i get to have some freedom during the trip.

Fantastically, i got the sucky part of the deal, volunteering myself to take the earlier flight to Brunei and touching back on Singapore soil half a day later after a brief mix up or gamble or whatever you call it. And so, after Brunei and a 2 hour flight, i basically had around 15 hours or 'rest' time before i enter Armour camp.

The first 4 weeks has been very fruitful, the first week having the beret presentation [gone through some shit just to get the coveted black beret too] and the happy hour where we all have to gulp down at least 1 mug of beer [shoik!]. Done driving, and almost completed all the gunnery stuff too. All those weapons make the GPMG look real puny too, just had a look at it today and it looks real small than when i first saw it in Ocs.

Anyway, lots of shit coming up real soon, bookouts are literally 24 hours for more or less the rest of the couse already and it's time to gear up and charge ahead. Now i understand what my instructors mean by forget all non-Saf stuff etc. I've got insane tests coming up threatening to cut my bookout time by 50% still, and it's not gonna do me any good too.

Whooops. Pretty late already, only caught 5 hours of sleep yesterday, gotta sleep tight tonight, so i'll end off my entry here. Night !

Ahh ... block leave, one of the best time of NS life.

Managed to go out with BMT friends, JC friends, Secondary school friends and went to Sim Lim square ! Plus, looking back on my already ancient blog post, i might as well just update all those people reading my blog, only to have come back for the past 3 months disappointed.

So far, i've enjoyed my BMT days, albeit tiring, however it was one of those memorable experiences. How often do you get 50 boys and get them to hold weapons, punish them etc. ?

As for goals or resolutions i've set this year, not too bad, i've satisfied a few of them, pretty pleased.

1. Enjoy my NS life - Done and still doing.
2. Buy more computer hardware - got myself a new 22" LCD ! My old monitor was spoiled.
4. Take up swimming again, as a hobby or exercise - Did a 30 lap swim sometime last week, felt quite good.
6. Try to do 15 pull ups, with the help of NS - Only 10 so far =/
7. Possbily a 6-pec ? Else just trim off that tummy of mine. - Still a big tummy.
8. Appreciate my family - Done, and still doing.
9. Go out more with friends - Done, and still doing.
10. Be satisfied with my A level results, try to get a scholarship - Pretty satisfied, but was too lazy for a scholarship.
11. More money, or i rather have more financial control - Well, did try to curb my spending quite abit.
12. Save up some money for my future - So far, a little $$ in my bank acc.
14. Excel in anything i do - I can't assess myself.

Tomorrow i'm booking in to my new unit, good thing it's near my house. Much better than Tekong where i had to travel to Pasir ris ... So ... tata ~

It's the new year ! What a way to start it off with more resolutions ? Jason's one seem pretty interesting, haha, feel like copying his, but then again, i'll have my own.

But anyway, this are my new year resoutions.

1. Enjoy my NS life.

2. Buy more computer hardware.

3. Improve my overclocking skills.

4. Take up swimming again, as a hobby or exercise.

5. Know how to play a song on the piano.

6. Try to do 15 pull ups, with the help of NS.

7. Possbily a 6-pec ? Else just trim off that tummy of mine.

8. Appreciate my family.

9. Go out more with friends.

10. Be satisfied with my A level results, try to get a scholarship.

11. More money, or i rather have more financial control.

12. Save up some money for my future.

13. Get a light tuition job for the weekends for extra cash. Any takers ? ^^

14. Excel in anything i do.

15. Get rid of my "equal-action-sickness".

Haha. What's 15 ? Let me explain.

All along, from my primary school days, i always believed in 'equivalent sides'. It was a 'queer' habit i had. Every step i climb up with my left foot, i must ensure my right foot will also get a step. If a flight of steps has a odd number of steps, i'll rather jump up the last step than take another with my left/right foot.

Same many other things. Say piano, when there was left hand/right hand scales, it didn't really matter which of my hands was weaker in scales, rather, i choose to practise the same amount on both my hands. You might not have noticed it but it has lessened in the past few years, hopefully i can get rid of it.

Anyone had the same problem ? Haha.

Reflections

The new year has come and gone, our playtime is over, girls have to find a job and guys will either take the shave or find a temporary job too. It's been an eventful year, yes, and i would pretty much want to use this entry to recall the main events of 2006 for me.

I'll start off with CCA. Odac, at the start of 2006 we were destined to close. However some who didn't not want the club history to go up in smoke continued fighting, and for some funny reason the next batch was merged with cross-country to form XAC. Didn't last long though, as i thought, and it was the first and last batch. Well i didn't wanna argue with the school management, as it was their final decision already. Perhaps a simple letter will suffice, but they will not understand what the significance of a deep friendship culture embedded within the school, and the reason they gave was commercialisation [Streamlining the activities into the extra activities] , which neither of us could understand unless you examine the school as a big 'business'. Oh well, a lost battle right from the start and i do pity my juniors who just went cca-less after 1 year. Thinking back, what should i have done ? I wonder, but as i ponder i realised i'm not going to be able to do anything to change the situation. What i might have done will only delay the event that will eventually happen.

Also took part in 2 adventure races, but with sort of dismal results. I guess i'm just unlucky. Nevertheless, all the outings, the races, the trips out, i all enjoyed them. Will be hard to forget those memories.

In march i went on the Manado trip as a CIP trip. To be honest, i wasn't all enthusiastic with the trip initially, but this gut feeling was one of the most inaccurate feeling i've got in my whole life. I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of the trip, the interaction, the playing time, the sharing of knowledge, the scenery on top of making alot of new friends there. I've learned a few other things there, if you want to excel in what you are doing, enjoy doing it. Also, the letter Mr Tan made us write to ourselves and open up 6 months later does show how much you have grown. I like the idea, might do one before going into NS. Also, would like to thank the teachers. Some are not not teaching in our batch and because of the trip, cannot present the A level results to my seniors.

Now moving on, nothing much actually happened in between except for alot of studying. Coming to studying, i haven't really put in alot of effort when i look back, and so i don't really expect much as said before. So after exams, it was just plain playing. What i did was basically go online, went out with friends, went overseas with family and friends, a chalet, and a BBQ. Still, i would have preferred if my schedule was packed to the fullest .. hehe, then i won't feel so bored at home. Chatted alot with all my friends, got to know them better, or understand them, which isn't a bad thing, as most of these information is only given when you have somewhat earned their trust.

Rest of the time was spend going out, talking cock, drinking coffee, playing, playing and more playing. For now, NS enlisment is looming, and i would like to go in, finish up my NS and get the hell out. Not much crap like zhiyao =P on what you learn in there or the adversities you face, it's all just part of a male's life in Singapore. I do hope i learn a thing or two about life in there, and at least it's worth the 2 years. Let's see, prom. Some of my pictures are in friendster, you can go have a look at them, but to me, it was just one of the last events together as a batch of 05XXX students. It wasn't exactly exciting, but it was decent, lest for the price we paid. I shudder at the thought should the event get all emotional and how 'tough' these 2 years have been, with every girl ruining their make up with tears, that would be pretty amusing too. Haha. Me and my ... random thoughts. But again, it was good to meet up one last time with old friends and say a 'hi', maybe thank them for everything [which i forgot to do] ... and catch up a little on what happened during the holidays.

O well, it ends this long overdue post, might add another post today as well ... haha.

Silence

It's been 3 months since i last blogged. I wonder where i've been. Studying ? No. In fact i think i've slacked quite abit during the A levels, thinking back on it. I suppose you reap what you sow, so in the end i'm expecting as much as i got for O's. I could do better, but what's the point ? Show off to everyone else ? I believe in consistency and not a one time push to the finish. However, you see results being the top piority here, and that's the way of life which i have to accept. So, as much as i dislike this policy, i can't argue against it.

Where else have i been ? Class chalet was another one. *Speaking of chalet, i apologise as i was overseas and cannot attend the one for my secondary school. 3 days 2 nights of interaction with a group that i have been to tutorials to for the past 2 years. It was a refreshing experience as you now approach them with a mindset of enjoying and not studying. You get to see a person's different side; how they would normally react socially. Basically it was plain playing throughout the 3 days, and i think i contracted the 'Mahjong' fever there. Because of that activity, i only slept 2 hours for the entire 3 days. And luckily my birthday 'present' wasn't that bad after all. By the way, thanks to those who wished me happy birthday too.

After that, came home with a 2 hour nap and a 10 hour sleep i was more or less back to normal.

Next came lanparty. 'What's that ?' You might say, it's just bringing your computer down with others to enjoy lan gaming, on top of other fun activities. This time i was able to go down to Funan and bring my caseless rig, and unfortunately that attracted alot of stares from the public. What i was worried about is whether someone might steal something fron my computer since it was caseless to start with. Nevertheless, i enjoyed myself there and also slept 2 hours. This time i didn't take a bath for 3 whole days as opposed to the chalet.

After that, a 14 hour sleep brought me back to normal.

Last was the Vietnam trip i went to with my parents. It was 6 days long with 3 in Ho Chi Minh City and 3 in Hanoi. The latter had cool weather, around 20C, it was virtually like an air-conditioned city. Mostly sightseeing, shopping and eating, nothing much already. The traffic there is 'horrendous' in one sense, but it's very successful. Firstly they don't wear helmets when riding on motorbikes, [The last time the government there did it the traffic accidents went up by 30%] and the motorbike ratio to ratios is like 100 to 1 at least. Red lights without traffic police are virtually invisible, and zebra crossings are just for decoration. Crossing the road there for a first timer is pretty scary, but as long as you walk properly, the bikes will swerve accordingly. If you have no guts, you won't be able to cross the roads too. The only reason why i don't see accidents should be due to the fact that the motorbikes don't go over 60km/h.

I've been to a few places there, on top of the 2 cities, also Ha Long Bay, Cu Chi [is that a place ?] and passed by a trade city called Hai phong. Strangely, in terms of development, i think Hai Phong looks most developed, then Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. Hanoi is still the captial of vietnam as it posseses immense cultural value to the nation.

The food there is pretty good too, alot of vegetables, and for the whole trip i'm proud to say i've only gained 2 kg.

One particular thing i came across was this 'rice ball'. Simply by frying a lump of gultinous rice flour you get this with the air inside the flour expanding. It tastes fantastic and i was eating up every last bit of it too. Woohoo.

Nothing else already right ? I guess that explains the silence in this blog.

I think blogging does relieve me of the fact of studying everyday. [That's why i didn't post for a long time, was actually playing around and not studying. Bwahahaha]

Well i've got a few changes. Firstly, i changed my internet browser to Opera. It's a very nice broswer, in my opinon, faster than firefox and a very configurable interface. It took me 30 minutes to figure out what was going on etc. But the problem is as i'm typing this browser doesn't have word wrap for this blogging window and so my future posts will more or less have shorter paragraphs =D. If you dunno what word wrap is, check out notepad. On typing this sentence i realised that it was a very very very long sentence before word wrap cones into play, and now it's word wrapping on my window !!! So now i think it's better for me to type in longer paragraphs to enable the word wrap function and hence i'll be able to see what i'm 'blogging'.

Next thing. Enlistment ! It's just amazing. The moment i got it, i lost all mood to study. My mom was like standing next to me checking to see when i enlist. Blah blah blah .... Then we have Andrew whining about going in early ... Hsien Wei Alwyn Terence Me going in the same time, Wee Chong, Jinmison one day later, etc. Btw the 5 tix given toyou, treasure them. At POP [BMT ending that time] they will only give 2 tickets. Giam people. Those who report same time

[Damn this word wrap thing is driving me crazy]

Ok. What shall i say now ? Be critical of the world as i was before, or be some cheery guy that wakes up every morning with a smile ? Gonna give both a go.

To be honest, it's been quite a short while since i've blogged, what's worse is that i'm stuck at home, much lesser human interaction to trigger off my feelings, my thoughts, what happens in my brain =D. But of course, the world wide web is just an amazing place to be in, i get to see all sorts of people. In this week, i've chanced upon ... a 13 year old scammer, and a daughter of an MP who considers herself an elitist [i don't really care anyway] who slams what she believes to be a whiner. To read up on the saga, Msg me, i'll give ya the links.

From those, i find out very interesting things. Let's start with the scammer. Once they found out he was scamming, the online community kept chatting about it, and also racked up quite abit of personal info. I think his blog, friendster account, handphone number, Ebay account, picture, school and everything was exposed almost immediately. In the end, he got off easily as the other guy was a nice forgiving one, and decided to let it pass. However, if it was me, i'll someone caution his parents. Scamming is a serious thing, next time theres gonna be more of it. And to thsoe potential scammers ... don't think because it's a computer screen you are behind means you are safe. We will HUNT YOU DOWN.

Next, the daughter. Well i have to say she is the creme of the crop, GEP you know. But again, the online community dug up pics, infomation of her before she even realises that and closes her blog. Powerful. [Well it makes it easier as her dad's a MP, got more personal info online] Since you guys haven't really read it yet, i can't comment much but i do have alot of things i want to shout out about.

And also, these 2 were mentioned in 2 seperate forums. It took be 1-2 hours to browse through them, but i found the replies, comments or post very amusing. It's amazing how many comedians exist =D.

What else do i have to say ? Hmmm .... nothing much. And i'm gonna have a class chalet !!!! [This is where the pleasant boy comes into play] I was thinking of disassembling my computer go there and do it open concept, but then, i need a LCD monitor. Maybe PS2 or something must be nice ... haha. Then we can play Winning Eleven for the whole day ! wOOt !

The Progression

Ya ya, it's been a horridly long time and even if there is no one, i suddenly found the urge to blog, to spew out all my thoughts bottled up inside me, to release whatever i have in there. And i know you were be expecting the ... 'oh, these 2 years have been very fun, and in the blink of an eye, i find myself graduating' then i am supposed to continue with the ' thanks 05S30 for the support you have given me blah blah blah' ... i'm not the emotional sort though. Anyway, that would make it pretty boring wouldn't it ?

And so, my new blog entry. [Man it's like a demolished blog, even the tagboards are gone] Yeah, and i disabled the comments, so .... so long suckers ! No comments from you guys !!! Do drop me a message in Msn if you eventually do come to my blog to kill boredom. So what shall i say ? The 2 years emotional crap ? Or my thoughts as of now ? [I betcha choose the latter ... i'll comply]

Well then. Some of it has to go to the 2 years in Jc anyway, sounds corny but hey ... it's still 2 years, learnt quite some stuff here, especially .... nothing. I appreciate learning how to appreciate in this school for once. ...................... [Skip the part about thanking friends and teachers ... fast forward >> ]

Ok then. So what have i been doing ? Honestly, watching shows. English TV shows. I find them a zillion times more meaningful than Chinese serials or English series made in Singapore. Those in Singapore give you a shallow lesson, which is what your parents usually teach you. But those made in America, teach you about life. How to handle it, what you might chance upon, your purpose, etc etc. Of all the shows i have watched ... [House M.D., Desperate Housewives, Prison Break, Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy], i find the last, Grey's Anatomy, very meaningful. If you learn to read between the scripts, the actions, the dialogues and body languages, you notice something very interesting ... something words can't describe. I do respect the scriptwriters too, they are able to 'wordify' some of life's most important lessons. I got sucked into it, at the same time understanding people, and also learning more and more things. Suddenly life just becomes more meaningful.

Ok. I can't possibly stay on a single subject for so long. That will bore you. Speaking of understanding people, i too have that nasty habit of trying to do so. The easiest way to do it ? Blogs. Everyone just 'vocalise' their thoughts in their blogs, making understanding a whole lot easier. However, there will surely be a few tough ones, and sad to say, i haven't been able to crack into their brains and try to understand their basis of actions, their reasons for such thoughts, what they do and why they feel this way. These are all very intriguing questions i'm burning to solve when i meet a new stranger. To this, i find some friends really hard to understand, yet some are just so simple-minded, easy-going, click-able. The former is just having a surface relationship with you, yet you want to initiate something deeper, something more meaningful. It's frustrating sometimes. [No no, i'm not gonna go into specific examples] Well then, have YOU understood me ? Nah, those who do, are very rare individuals ... i'll say the maximum number that does that is 5. What i do outside is one thing, what i think about inside is another =D.

Well, prison break is also a nice show. I'm amazed at how the scriptwriters manage to 'suck' you into the whole story. You watch the first, you want more. The more you watch, the more you crave, and it never ends. I guess it's the same for addiction, any type of addiction. I gotta admire the Schofield, the genius trying to excute this seemingly impossible task, yet it does it with ease. This is one show that gets you on the edge of your seat. Try it.

Now then, what else shall i say ? Quite an uneventful life i have so far, yet much much more awaits me. Ok, nothing to talk about, there is always prelims ... [well then again it's all the emotional crap everyone else blogs about, i guess you don't want me to have the same feelings paraphased right ?] How about the upcoming A levels ? Should i talk about it ? [Just pissed that S paper ends so @#%@$&@$& late, while everyone is playing i'm still trying to study some paper that virtually impossible to pass.] NS ? No enlistment letter, hence i conclude i'll be entering in April. I should be finding myself a job pretty soon.

Well then, i gota say this, but about the school ending thing, i still have a little i need to offload from myself. These 2 years ? Fun. It's anything but boring. Imagine 20 people coming together to get tortured at the same time ... yup, that's about JC life. I have supposedly made friends during the 2 years, yet in the end to find that i haven't actually understood them, so it's just a mere surface relationship between 2 humans. You don't share any experiences, you don't feel anything in the end. Yet, i have made many friends i've appreciated, chatting along, bullshitting, playing soccer, though these seem like minor activities yet they bring out their character in these stuff. I've enjoyed chat sessions, able to exchange views, analyse how people think and why they think this way etc. [Don't worry if you are reading this, you most likely fall into the more favourable category]

Highlights of the life ? You mean the time i was high, or the more prominent ones ? For the former, Manado trip and orientation. Don't wanna go into details, that one everybody else would have elaborated upon already. Prominent ones ? YOu know i enjoyed the FM batch soccer time, where 20-30 people would just play on the synthetic field, it is so fun, trying to play as a team, connect, unite, and develop and progress. That's why they say soccer is a language. They brought strangers, from 5 different classes, together as friends. How cool is that ???

Ok. i know this is an essay, but who cares ? Isn't it nice reading blogs sometimes ? *For me, if i see any records of daily activities i'll close that blog immediately. I find trying to read someone's thoughts amusing, just like what you are doing now. I still have alot in there but regurgitating them out would make me sound like a bastard. Hence no.

Well then. Sometimes i gotta say i'm the un-sentimental type. I'm unsenstitive, more straightforward, crude at times, but that's me. So ... don't expect too much outta me, like birthday presents, the most i'll usually do is a Sms. I don't celebrate birthdays either, not too fond of that, kinda sick with the attention seeking type of people. Those are one class of people i have yet to understand. [You might wanna count the number of words understand in this blog post]. With econs, i find writing longer and longer pretty simple, and natural.

What else have i gotta say ? Nothing much. Till the next post, whenever that is =D.

Appreciate Appreciating Appreciation

Just back from the Manado trip. Well not just, but it's the first post ever since i'm back. Have been very tired so i can't really be bothered to update frequently. What i got to say is that i had some very good and enriching experiences, with a totally different culture. For a start, everybody there was very friendly. I won't elaborate much about the trip itself, because it's sometimes too bothersome and experiencing it is much better than reading it. So got for any student exchange program if possible !

Well the weather there is is chilly, around 20 degrees celsius ? The good thing is where ever you walk, you would be greeted by a smile on the student's faces. [The school is SMA Lokon] It's just a different culture, hard to express in words. You have to see it to understand the difference. As we stayed in the dormitories or hostels with the students, it was easier to build up friendships as we live with them and have mealtimes together. There was plenty of interaction time and i got to say, i've never had friends like this before.

What is important is not what happened there, but what you got out of the program. The difference in their attitude towards school and life can be attributed to the fact of appreciation. Not everyone there gets a place in school, so they treasure their 'seat' in the school. So they appreciate, and lives for the teachers lead less stressful lives compared to Singaporean teachers. The students are polite, they are meticulous about small things that concern the teachers. Even the JJ teachers who went there have a fantastic experience, not with us the JJ students, but with the Lokon students there.

I won't say much about the way JJ student's act. Do some self-reflection; when was the last time you tried to make a teacher happy? [Did you even try?] Everyone here has a place in education and so we all take it for granted. Instead of studying hard we react by making things diffcult for everyone.

That's why to be a better person, sometimes take a step back and reflect on your actions. Indeed i have done some wrong things, [i apologise] but as the Old and Wise say, it's the lessons you learn that are very important. Did the seat you take in a SBS bus just deprived an Old woman of her seat ? Did the noise you make in public annoyed the people around you ?

You might question why i have posted about appreciation. It's something i feel that is IMPORTANT. Try making your parent's feel happy for one day. Do the dishes for them, pour them a glass of water, wash the clothes, make coffee, and massage them. They would be overjoyed by it, and the satisfaction i get is undescribable. This is also repaying them for their sacirifices, and this makes it worth it for them to do so.

Well them, the GP common test is screaming out to me, but F1 is back ! Something to watch every fortnight =D. It's a good thing it's the March holidays now. My stress level is almost approaching my threshold already, this would give me sometime to rest and relax.

Why ? Many reasons. I shan't explain all. Reason ? How does a maths test tomorrow which i haven't studied for, a take-home physics test, Physics SPA next week, another maths test, a camp this weekend, plus the Manado trip next week sound to you ? *I haven't stated all yet.

Well, back to the topic on why we should learn our language well. GP modules were on again, and Science and society with Miss Bey ! 'Erm-ing' classes for the next 3 weeks. Well i realised that the GP tutors in our school realised the low standards English in our students, and i felt being verbally attacked in a nice way by them.

Scarsm has become a way of scolding/insulting students for GP teachers. Why ?

1. Students don't comprehend what they might have said.
2. They don't have to shout while carrying out the task.
3. Not many would be able or bother to reflect the true meaning of their sentences.
4. The teacher could smirk with the students having the impression that the teacher is happy.
5. Teachers, any reasons ?

So i say, learn it, and learn it well. It would be ironic if you took English as your main subject and didn't realised that someone could, would, or was scolding you in English.

Only thing I was looking forward to. I just ain't the type for mass dancing, but had to, so I became a gay for 30 minutes to dance with Guojie.

Wasn't fast at all, but achieved my target of winning Weechong ! =P. Got a pen and mechanical pencil as some souvenir. 62th place if I'm not wrong. I guess that's totally slow also. I should train harder.

Well I won't want to dwell on the what happened throughout the day, it's so boring, move on to some intresting stuff !

Well, on the bus saw this RI guy. Seemed to be late for school but had no sense of urgency. Well, he sat at those green seats with 2 rows facing one another and occupied the seat which was facing him by place his feet on the elevated platform. Took out a PSP [typical rich guy] and switched it on to listen to music. Somehow it just seems normal, must be sterotyping. Then came a group of senior citizens, but he seemed indifferent as well.He continued to occupy the seats denying those old men of some seats.

Is it just me or what ? Sometimes i get pissed off at student's attitude. No matter what school you are from, if you are guilty of this good luck to you. I hope you live a long life, and hopefully fall in the bus when you have no space to seat. Don't blame those youngsters who you believe are less deserving to those seats; rather, youself. Think about it.

What i have is a problem with these arrogant bastards. I know this might invite some hostility but if i recognised the fact that the cream of the crop will be our future leaders then i am going to have a problem with the future goverment if this continues. I expect those top schools to take action, not to the individual but to the mass. So what if they are the top ? Does it really matter ? I believe it all boils down to something called attitude, which sadly speaking, many lack. Even in JJC, RJC and the others. I won't say i have it but at least make an effort to try.

Now i'm asking myself what i just typed is true. Or is it just my jealously ?

Ok just to try to revive my blog in one way or another, no more long posts from now on due to work committments. [Ok maybe once in a while but rarely].

Pondering questions during the day:

Why do people like to cheer in the canteen ? Do they feel high ?
Why do some people occupy one whole seat with their asses and bags and feel no remorse for those standing ?
I noticed senior citizens like to occupy a whole seat as well; looking at their attitude pisses me off as well. Sometimes they are so degrading that i don't want to offer my seat to them when i see them on the bus.
Why do some people study so hard for ? Is that what life is about ? Or is it living to have fun and be happy ?

Haha ... i guess the laziness is starting to set in on me. After all, it's the holidays ! Op is over, theory is over , i have no piano , i have no swimming ... I FEEL SO FREE !!! So of course, it's play play play the whole day till i didn't even want to bother about this blog. And my mom has been scolding me ever since i was stuck onto the computer.

Let's see, haven't blogged for a long time. Ok i'll start with the events first. Chinese AO lvl was on the first day of our holidays, and of course, it went ok for me -> means i will get from B4-D7. Any grade out of that range and i'll be suprised. Intrestingly, i got 2 tian xie han zi correct! wahaha.

Even before that, was theory, i finished in 2 hours 15 minutes and came out, without bothering to even check. Wasn't confident, but i think i will pass. After all, with all the composing and no standard marking scheme, the marks would be very subjective. Ok, won't ponder on this for too long.

Then came OP. Our group was the slackest in the whole class, i guarantee you of that. We came back 3 times althogether, and that was because we didn't settle the previous slides properly. Expecting a grade 2-3; after all, didn't put in much effort. It's not worth the time, you just need to know whether you have learnt the skills well enough, and not the fact that you get grade 1 means you have learnt all the skills. Well, Mr Chew was damn cheeky, as we did this trial period for a couple to live together, he asked Alvin what if a man wanted to try 2 women ? Lol. Man are pigs. =Þ.

And now, that's all for the event. Moving on, alot have happened recently. Just want to discuss a little about them. Paris, the riots. While reading the papers, i feel so lucky i'm living in this country which is riot-free and everything. Haha. Imagine there were riots, seriously speaking, i wouldn't even feel safe at home. All thanks to Lee Kuan Yew. I just read this book about 4 little dragons, which are Asia's 4 rising nations in the 1990s. They were Singapore, Japan, Taiwan and Korea if i'm not wrong. So the author visited these countries and wrote some stories on them.

Obviously i went straight to the Singapore section and see what was an outsider's percepion on Singapore. That was rather intresting. [The book was written in 1990 or 1992] Singapore was described as perfect, and nothing to do. The Singaporeans had no life, work from 7am to 7pm, come home, watch some television and sleep. No social life, the author described, and so the goverment had to set up a branch to organise these social activities, which was SDU. Obviously the govement had something else in mind -> to encourage people to get married.

Another intrestin point to note, was that Lee Kuan Yew had eliminated all his oppressors successfully, take Chee Soon Juan for instance. There was one more, i think Jeyaratnam. lol. Who cares about politics these days. Well, i might consider, but i think i'm just not suited for it.

Hmm. Since i'm still in tune with Chinese music, just discuss about it. Now there is another new album by Guo Mei Mei. Remember lao shu ai da mi? Lol. Now it's Bu pa bu pa. Zzzzz . Actually, it's copied from this numa numa clip which has circulated widely on the internet. And now she has 7 , YES , SEVEN new remixes of this song. Yawn. It does get boring after some time. And i don't know why people still listen. Isn't it the same song? Imagine how much revenue she gets from all this singing. She sang 2 songs, left the rest to the music enhancers to 'fa hui' or work their magic, and now shes so rich. Maybe i should consider that too. Or the William Hung path is quite prospective too. He has so many pretty girls around him in that music video i saw last time. O man .... doesn't he feel he is on heaven? Lol.

Come to think of it, teachers DO read blogs don't they? Any teacher that come across should just put a Hi or something, then at least i know that my blog is appreciated. =D Well, friends are welcome to do so as well. But if you want to do it anonymously, i wouldn't mind too.

Ok. Just a short one. Just want to say ... I AM PROMOTED ! wahahaha !!! And i don't have to drop anything ! Suprising ... considering i flunked up my promos for one reason or another.

Anyway, PASSED CHINESE! WOOO .. such a morale booster for me. AO CHINESE, HERE I COME ! lol, those chinese experts think it's easy to get A ... it's tough passing for me already. But who cares... although did badly for p1 .... wahahaha .. overall C5 .

Passed Gp as well, and i though i would fail it .. so hard, especially the passage. Dotx. But of course, estatic as well =D. LAzy to blog now, so tired ... yawns ....

Anyway, after promos also like not much changes, it's back to school, choinging again ... but somehow i'm now more accustomed to it. Work work ! And all the teachers are busy compiling the final results, and i hope they give us a small break for this week or something as well. Haha. Ain't i slack!

Ok. Promos are now, officially over, but it's crunch time for me soon. Anyway, if you are wondering why i didn't blog, read the papers. After typing in just a few hundred charaters of a unsuitable topic, you get jail. JAILED ! MIND YOU ... it's going to be on your record till the end of your life. I think although this is a good measure to prevent more racist bloggers, so what ? Aren't we humans ? Aren't we entitled to our own feelings ? I just did a Gp paper on the fact that diversity is racisim. Another is the generalisation, which would lead to discriminations, which is part of human nature ! These people are just putting it in words.* A stern warning, like probation and large fine would be suffice. Why would anyone want to ruin another persons' future for a small mistake, and we are supposed to give chances; everyone makes mistakes.

Hence .... i'm really afraid to blog.

Oh well, since my loyal readers have been asking or requesting for the revival of this dead blog .... i'll just post again. Anyway, i have been studying, and that's why wasn't blogging. [ or rather, taking breaks from studying ... which is of course playing ! ] So the promos have been fairly good for me ... i say wouldn't score that well, but i don't think i'll do too badly either =D.

Ok .. so what you want me to post ? Nothing. Promos over . Lets play !!! Haha ...

Actually, just want to discuss about this blogging issue. Well, it has been a while since i even talked about this type of issues. So ... i feel that this first warning has been a little too harsh. This is really bad for them, in a society like this, few compaines would want to hire this bloggers already .... The situation has become so bad that there is a yellow ribbon campaign and the '3 Good Men' or 'San Ge Hao Nan Ren' , a movie by Jack Neo Addressing this issue. Anyway, one of the blogger's muslim friends has even vouched for him. If someone is a real racist, how in the world do you get along with someone from another race? It's like going out and watching a movie with someone to hate. I seriously hope someone would do something about this, i do feel sorry for the 2 men, although it was their fault.

Let's see. Oh ya. Mentioned something about crunch time. Chinese AO level examinations are coming .... have to wish me luck on this. My chinese isn't good right from primary school, but i hope to achieve a decent result. This would be on .... 31st October right? Then i have grade 8 music theory on the 28th ... have to study all the italian, german and french terms on music =(. What's worse, is that if i'm selected for the physics olympiad [btw, it's rather fun =D] about 24th i will have the competition. And we have to study one ! Alot of information ... *sobs*. To sum it all up, Mr Yeo is having a 2nd Order Differential Equations Test soon. I guess should be next week or the one after the next. Sigh, who says it's easy-going after the promos.... in fact, it's just as bad as before promos.

As for holiday plans, i have so many things. Secondary school class having a chalet, same goes for my current class. Odac night + chalet is also during the holidays, plus i may be sent off to Perth for Ouap [signed up, dunno whether can go or not] . Add in some holiday lessons and my whole holiday is also packed. Of course, i would also like to squeeze in some time to play ! wahaha ....

(2/9) End of term 3 ~

There goes term 3. How time flies ... i can still vividly recall the first three months ... where we played basketball after school till 5 ... and slacked from morning to night . Not much homework to be completed , no project work , and sometimes when so few people come that the teachers moved the lessons to the Cafe ... What a wonderful experience .... =)

Ok. Have to get myself back into reality , WITH project work , Neverending Homework ... *sobs* I guess almost everybody is going to reach their maximum stress level quite soon with the promos around the corner. Anyway , i dd myself a favour , and decided not to take up the FES . Felt i would not study if i didn't take anything ... So although i may be cursing at myself sometimes in school , it still feels right to take the promos. Anyway , the exemption from the Maths C promos has helped my quite abit ... somehow i just feel more relaxed ...

Then again , i ponder ... would that be a good option ? Wanted to consult Mr Mak on this , but didn't find the time , and could somehow see that he was quite busy as well , so ... in the end , i didn't receive any valuable advice (Forgot to consult my parents as well. Just told them i wanted to skip Maths C for this promos. ) .

Ok. Some bad news. I failed my chinese CT .... Got to work hard for chinese ! I can make alot of promises and not really adhere to them , which was what i did in secondary school , or just try to motivate myself to study chinese everytime. Obviously , i chose the latter. Well , don't really like to ponder over bad things like this ... so i will just move on to the next thing ! ( P.s. Please don't try to console me ... i've failed so much i'm numb to this feeling ).

Ah ... Yes. Remembered Teachers Day. One of the days i was looking forward to this year. I wanted to go back to Miss Yee and said i could do pull-ups. I wanted to thank Mr Chia for instilling some disclipline into me. I want to thank Miss Chan for being a fabulous form teacher. Still got who else ar ? Ok ... anyway , just went back to see my teachers ... and can you believe it ... Mr Chia ' Sou Sen Cheng Gong ! ' -> '搜身成功' ! For those non-chinese out there , it means he lost weight. Anyway , he looks quite thin now , and can control himself. He looked at the chocolates and was thinking how to eat all ... going to become fat again. Haha.

The concert at Fuhua this year was quite good , all the singers were good , performances were dramatic ( those who watched ... you know what i mean ... ) and many came back from their polytechnics , ITEs , and JCs. Those who went poly changed alot. Attire becomes so punky , hair is dyed , much much longer , and of course ... dyed. There were so many who changed it too me a while to recognise who was who ... ( my eyes were going @_@ ) . The wonton mee there is still as good , the uncle as generous , and it's just so nice ... haha . Actually i wanted to play soccer , but then accompained my class to go Sakae Sushi. Me and Chingwei went library and slacked , and went in at 3 ... Ate till 5.30Pm , and after that , went home already . Overall , a very fun day =).

Then today i had ODAC . We did bouldering for a while , and fixed all the loose rocks , while Eddy led the lion dance team and taught them many moves. He look so cool man ! Go left , then right , then back again , like the drunken fist steps. Once we finished , we went to take the soccer ball and played in the netball court ! Played till 6.30 .... So fun man ... haven't played so much soccer in a long , long time , all because of school work . We all played in the rain , and of course , my shoes were soaking wet once we finished. Then, instead of heading home to dry my legs , i went to eat with Lilin , Isaac , and Ruixue ... and i ate so much today ! Just like a pig ... haha . Once i went back , i had the smelliest feet in the whole of Singapore. haha ... Stinking the whole house.

Finally , the holidays are here ! Gotta plan in advance ... carefully on what to do on each day ... and remember ... only roughly 25 days to the promos. Work Hard Guys !!!! ( And Gals As Well ... ) =)

(18/09) Tests Over !

Haha ... my common test is over !!!!!!!!!! So glad man .... but actually it's the same. I still play the whole day siax .... but now there is less stress already ... can play even more !

Ok. This common test has been half a preview of what the actual A lvl examination is like. Why ? , you may ask , well ... obviously , it's because we only took 1 paper for maths , and did 1 essay question on economics rather than the actual 3 . But , of course , as i have told my frieds , it's quite mentally exhausting ... after 1 hour have commenced on the maths paper , i find myself having to take some breaks after each question , to refresh myself and my brain , and to try to keep it working in optimum condition.

So of course , after every test i was exhausted ... and the first day having maths C and economics didn't help also . So , had to brave through the tough first day , and then went home to sleep , waking up halfway to start studying for the FM test on the next day. Fm was even funnier ... i remembered that almost 1/3 of the cohort went to the toilet , as i was sitting at the back , and the air-con was soooooooo damn cold .... we were all practically freezing inside. Intresting thing is , those taking GSC ... including weekiat and shuhui .... are PROS. Not even one went to the toilet during that 3 hours of the paper ... i just can't imagine how they can do it in such a cold enviroment.

Let's see , and so after physics , which was the last paper , i went to play pool . I rushed home , sweating , bathed , walked to the bus stop and it was so hot i perspired heavily and i went up the air-conditioned bus. Then i alighted at the interchange and heard for the pool shop , sweating again. And back into the air-con at the shop . NOTE : This is how you get FEVER . And once i returned home .... just went to rest , and ended up not coming to school on tuesday. Thanks to those people who have showed concern one way or another ... ( even if it's only in your heart ) ... but then i realised that i have missed out on many things. Of course , must catch up .... so troublesome ... haha.

Ok ... speaking about the subjects , i think i have to buck up on physics . Still quite a long way to go to a good grade. Economics has been the same .... Miss Chin is now in a delightful mood . I could say it's because of the results. o.O , you might think , but the fact that we did not do well for the economics common test shows that she has the ability to FORCE us to drop . Dotz ... And Mr Sia said only 4 people remained in this combination. Funny man , those who take econs are the worst in f maths. Those who take f maths are the worst bunch of those taking 4 A lvl subs. Ironically , Mr Sia ask us to drop FM , Miss Chin ask us to drop Econs , i think i better drop out of school , as isaac said ...

Ok , these 2 days time have been really tight ... so this entry won't be that long ... only took about 15 minutes ...

(06/09) ~ Back !!!

Haha ... sorry to those loyal readers out there ... have been too busy over some stuff ... will now start to type them all out. This is going to be a long long long entry ... so if u want to do your work , please go ahead first ( and finish all your work before you can and read this entry. )

Let's see ... right from the day we wore class tee. Funny Day , have to stay with the class throught the day ... or else will look quite funny. But ... we have two one-hour breaks ... and played soccer !!! Damn fun sia ... and as we played with the red class tee ... we looked like manchester united youth team in training ! wahahaha .. =) So ... wasn't so bad after all .... as the weeks pass by , we played soccer every thursday as well ... haha ... and it's the slack day somemore .... not alot of tutorials .... and so many breaks ... + civics ... woohoo . But i remembered there was one week , Alvin sprained his ankle , a really serious one , and then we had to carry him . That was a funny day man . He forced himself to walk on , and when there was physics practical , Yuko never inform us that it's at L11. So he went half and hour earlier , and took his time to climb up to the 3rd floor . We went to the lab sometime later. Then , all of us did not see anyone else , then yuko told us have to go back to the first floor , and Alvin was swearing all the way. Haha ... i damn bad right -> Xing Zai Le Huo

Ok . To mention about the new timetable ... isn't that good at all . Last wednesday i have to bring my physics , economics and f maths TYS. Can you imagine how heavy that is ? Lucky i had a locker =). So when all my friends see me with those books , 3 possiblities . 1 , i'm a super nerd. 2, i'm totally in love with my books. 3 , I'm moving house . Imagine all you want , i just know that i'm obedient enough to bring all three books.

Ok , on the topic of studies , had alot of tests during this period. All the teachers also took topics and drilled into our head in this term. At first i was all right , but now struggling to catch up as well . As Mr Mak said , Jc is a steep learning curve -> That's right man .... i totally agree. And you know , time management is really important now. I used to think it was useless in secondary school , but now ... realised it's importance. And Alvin's not helping me by introducing me to this online game. Now i'm addicted to it and i play for the whole day , during school days when i reach home , or in the weekends , to the extent of not even doing my tutorials.

Next, got my progress report a while back as well ... still going quite ok, and realised that i still have to buck up on my economics , got a C ... while the others got Bs ... As for Maths Physics and Gp , also have to strive for better marks. Chinese ... don't know how in the world i got an A1 , but it's sure going to drop to B3 by year end . Funny man ... seriously the grades are still too good for the amount of effort i have put in .... have been slacking for the past 5 months .... not even 10% of what i had done in O levels ( and i was really quite slack then too ) ... so ... hope it continues this way =) .

Ok , to further elaborate on Economics , Miss Chin has got some swaying moods . It's either she is very nice to us or she keep scolding us. But then again , i rather she not get affected by some external fators , as that's her teaching style , tried tested and proven over the last 20 years. Changing it would be a disaster , and actually it's the students attitude ... rather than the teachers. Actually shes a good good teacher. Much better than the younger Miss Chin. She will also push us more than Mr Sia , so we would at least do our work. Those in the same class try to understand .. haha ... espcially the girls .. why so demoralised ... it's just her way of teaching.

Eh ... Ahhh ... Next will be the ODAC Agm 2005 . We held it on 29th July , a Friday . Preparation for this event was one of the main reasons why i had no time to blog . As i was in administration ... we had to do most of the stuff before the event. We did the invitations ... which was a mini t-shirt ... quite nice la .... with a nice design as well ..... and looked quite cute. Actaully wanted to make one myself . haha . Then something went wrong with the ACC Agm . Apparently the hall caught fire for some reason ... so we were informed that we cannot use Lt5. In the end , we had to make cards to notify the seniors about the change of venue . The design was mainly contributed by Sophie ... and great thanks to those who stayed back on that day to do the cards. It was very nice as well ... also wanted to keep one . haha ( again ) . The Admin Com also did the voting stuff ... and the voting box ... which was used as a rubbish bin after Agm =( .

Then everybody was required to learn the opening dance ... and so ... the last 3 weekends were spent on dancing. As a result , i only had time to finish my work ... no time to blog .. haha ... paiseh. Then there were many other things to do , and of course , my weekdays were also burnt out. The day before the AGM , we did up the decorations and had a rehearsal till about 8. Luckily i was in the Administration Committee =) . During the AGM , i think i was the slackest . Just gave out voting slips and then collected them back again. The event was in Lt1 , and the Air-con there was just sooooo good man .... haha ... and the performances were all very nice as well . Gj Performance Com ! Ok . On that day itself , dinner was served first + the voting. Dinner looked so nice ! At least it was worth the money =) . Gj Foodd Com ! Then ... once we finished , we headed straight to the Lt ... and the decoration inside the Lt and along the walkways were also very nice . Gj Logistics Com ! Haha ... just praising everyone. Of course , not to mention ... Administration was also very good =) . So the performances were carried out ... and of course ... The emcees .. The Chuas ... Dylan and ChengWei ! Both of them are very good at this you know ... plus that shiny shiny outfit ;) ... so sexy ! haha ... By the End ... everyone was very happy as well =) . And i have to say ... it was really a success =) GOOD JOB EVERYONE ! -> Not to Mention ... the 2 i/c's of this ... Hongyi And Hexin. And of course ... Our New President is none other than ... Hongyi . =)

Of course ... it's also to say goodbye to the seniors ... and Leliang as well ... stepping down .

That day we finished at around 1130 ... and by the time we reached home , it was already 0030 hours. The bad thing is , the next day i have De Moivre's Theorem Tutorial Session with Mr Sia. It's also okay ... but ... it's at 730 !!! So early . And so , i dragged myself there to attend . And in the end , it's onli 30 minutes only ... -.- . But of course , Lilin and gang pulled me to go play soccer , and played till it started raining .... then i headed home . After that i felt kind of relieved.

Oh ya ... and during this period of time , i had my chinese oral . Flunked it up . BADLY , but i can't do anything ... my chinese sucks. haha . Also received the Common test time table. Starting the Common test quite soon .... 11th August. I'm not sure whether it's fate or not , but apparently ... for all the same subjects s30 and s31 are taking ... we are always at the same venus. haha . And of course , i have to start studying for my common test .... but then haven't even started when other people are already on their second round of studies.

Let's see .... anything else to add? Nothing yet ... ok ... So end of my ( actually , not very long ) blog entry .... haha ... Will update maybe after common test? i'll see first. Anyway , Common test coming soon ... Study hard guys ! and I can't wait for nationals day as well ... going for the NDP . Cool eh ?

Ok, seriously, i'm just slacking in front of my computer. I don't have the motivation to do anything.

But ... our class t-shirts got approved today ! Happy or sad ? you decide. By the order of the chair'woman', the whole class will have to wear it tomorrow. Strange man, especially when the uniform is brown. Somehow i feel that we are reviving the now-extinct Jenna house. If you didn't know, our t-shirt is totally RED, has our index numbers and names... going to be a real odd time tomorrow. Imagine, one RED class ... and wondering whether Mr Mak would wear it too. It's really going to be fun ? i'll bring a t-shirt just in case the plan backfires.

Now the homework is piling again, and i have a whole integration tutorial to do, a summary, complete the written report, of which i did 500 words, and was crap, file physics file, economics tutorial and revision. Yet again, i'm not sure whether it's a good or bad thing. You decide.

Not sure what i was doing also, but just read some blogs... it's been a long time since i browsed through those blogs already. Missed out on a few entrees for those regular blogger. *sigh* So many things, so little time.

Ok, just to make it sound more like a blog, will just put a few thoughts and events over the recent days. A new term, a new timetable. It's so fantastic. Monday first period is econs tutorial. Tuesday we have lessons till 4, and only 2 half hour breaks. Wednesday we have every subject except for chinese, all TUTORIALS. Can you imagine how heavy my bag is ??? Almost died carrying that bag today. Somehow, i think we also have 4-5 lessons in L41. *OMG* . Fourth floor, reminds me of my secondary school days. Gp teacher changed, and this time She's Miss Tan. Quite nice and her lessons are rather intersting, so i guess i'll be enjoying Gp lessons. As for economics, Miss Chin was pushing to get people to drop her subject. She always refer to economics as Her subject, and always use the fact that we take 4 A lvl subjects, and is at liberty to drop one subject. Friday, our release time was pushed back to 2pm .... with the addition of a 2 hour chinese lesson -.- right ? ...

(26/06) School Re-opening ~

Ok , haven't been blogging for a long , long time , maybe i do like spiderwebs in my blog ? wahahaha ...

Last week of the holiday was quite relaxed for me. Tuesday we had chinese , and CIP . About 15 of us went to somewhere in Kovan to do it , and i was some some sort of a wrapper . It's rather fun , re-packing those rice donations into other boxes , place them on palletes , those where you can use a forklift to carry , and then wrap wrap wrap ! Bad thing is , about 40% of those rice have bugs in them .... eeks ! After that , we went harbourfront to eat , and walked there , only to find that the arcade was gone . Took 61 home with Li lin and Ziyun , and i think all of us feel asleep standing ! We were really quite tired .

Wednesday , had to arrange an Admin Com meeting for the Odac , We spent the whole day making the voting box , and then we pratically walked to Taman Jurong to eat .. Duck Noodles ... took about 30 minutes to get there ... and almost bribed Xiang Jing to tell us the Odac cheer .

Thursday , Had Gp remedial and common test . Luckily i passes those TCAs , or else my Gp marks will be rather low . The common test was kind of tough ? Somehow , i just had that failing feeling after i completed the paper . After that , we went to watch Initial D with 25th Odac-ians !!! Not bad , we had seats at 630 .... walked around , ate , and walked again , and we wasted 2 hours in Jp doing stupid things. Finally , only nine of us watched the movie , compared to about 15 people who wanted to watch . Zhiyao , me , Andrew , Jinmison , Cheng Wei , Collen , Yan yi , Xin Rui and Hexin. The show was quite nice for me , seeing all those cars drift on tarmac roads ... see until my eyes went @_@ . Reached home at around 930 , and was rather tired.

Friday , Morning i woke up , and went to clementi to play pool with Hongyi and Chengwei . Met Yuko's Pw group there , and then went with Ruixue to Sumoya to eat lunch . It was nice , considering we only paid $3.50 .. wahahaha ... Salmon Teriyaki ..... Then proceded home and had theory lessons at night .

Saturday , Odac meeting . Most of the seniors came back , and we all decided who would be the candidates for AGM .

Following that , we all proceeded to Taman Jurong to eat again . This time i had Cha Siew and Roast Pork Rice , and Kok Sin was playing with the lime seeds , along with Hongyi ... lolx ... i was down there going -.- . Then i went Jp with Zhi yao , James , and Kelly , Went to popular to replenish my stationary supplies , and went to EC house to cut my hair . First time there , so mnay funny procedures. haha . But i got my hair cut , and wasn't too bad anyway , in fact , rather pleased with it . Went home , and did some work .

And now , it's sunday . *Sigh* . Tomorrow , school is reopening , feeling rather bored now ... haha ... have to wake up early , no time to rest , play or whatever . Seriously , this holidays was a rather relaxed holiday for me , i'm practically slacking for the whole holiday , only to realise that i have 5 more Gp Articles to do , and that we still have Mr Yeo's Curve sketching test which he haven't returned , hope i don't fail badly ...

And of course , so tired now , just want to sleep for the whole day , but i can't ... i'll become a pig after that . So i find myself blogging here , and just want to slack for the last day before i resume Term 3 . 1 More thing . If you are taking AO chinese , the Oral and Listening Comprehension is coming up quite soon , in the first 4 weeks of term 3 ... so good luck to all , and i hope i can pass too ... =)

Ok , just got that sudden urge to blog. I've just browsed through many of the blogs, my friends one and those which got publicised. Funny thing is, almost everyone blogged today. Ironically, nobody mentioned that it was Father's Day. Well , i'm not sure whether u guys remembered it or not , but i'm damn sure i did.

Just wrote out some sort of a list of my homework to be completed. I realised i was in for a tough and busy week. Haha , as expected , i'll just put down those homework due after the holidays. Of course , Liangzhi don't really want to read , but who cares .

Nothing Much. That is until i realised i haven't done the article evulation for about 6 weeks now.

Ok , i've filed my chinese stuff , did complex numbers , and finished physics with the exceptions of about 3-4 questions on circular motion, and just did a little of the 5 strategies , wrote a really really brief plot on each strategy. There still is alot more to come.

Of course , another important thing. AGM 2005 is coming soon !!! . Date , time and venue has been decided, now is just to check the avaliability of the venue on that date. ( P.s. if you didn't know , this is for ODAC ) . Well , voting will commence and the new committee will be decided on that date. Haha, guess for those seniors who are reading this , should be more or less quite excited . What could be better than a free buffet dinner and a professional performance by the 25th Batch of ODAC ? =P . Of course , as mentioned in the previous entry , i'm in the administration committee. Well , i thought it was the slackest , turns out the opposite. We have to do the contact list , invitation , budget , determine the voting system, and be receptionists on that day !!! I'm going like ... @_@ ... but oh well , i'll just stick to it till the end. So of course , i think we are one of the busiest committees , but who cares , just hope i have fun while i'm at it. =) . I don't think i'll reveal too much details about AGM yet , keep our seniors in suspense =) . wahahaha ...

Of course , i already have one setback. The contact list i made was a total failure. *sobs* . I had to sort of re-do the whole thingy , and now , print about 70 copies. NOW i'll demand payment. But of course , failure is the mother of all successess .. so i'll just perservere on !!!

So as you can see , i have alot of work to do , hence the title. Hope i can get everything done, and done well !

Ok , since i haven't blogged since the ODAC ATC , i might as well just write about last week entries. Rather boring , but helps to lengthen my entry =) . Monday was a funny day . After the ATC , most of us were damn shagged. I had economics lecture at 8. Of course , i was dragging myself there , and i was almost late. Funny thing is , most of the people who are late are not ODAC-ians. I was thinking to myself , not bad , ODAC-ians are punctual after all . Unfortunately , F maths lecture proved me wrong. Very wrong. Bengkian and Hongyi were 2 people i could remember who came in late. Haha , no offence , but they were really late , like half to an hour late. Oh well , the rest of the days weren't exciting , except for Thursday and Friday. Thursday we had our first official ODAC meeting , kind of cool .. haha ... discussed about alot of important things, and we decided on our date there . Friday , Issac came back from Hongkong . Cool man ~ hes got a PSP !!! and he brought back Lao Po Bing for us to eat ... so nice man !!! thanks a lot .. wahaha .... but we left a mess there and just ran away ... feeling a little guilty about that.

Last point to note : Have been observing that ODAC seniors come back to school to study EVERY SINGLE DAY. Wish them the best of luck =) . Hope they get good results !!!!!

Ahhh ........ it's been a long time since i blogged =)

Anyway , just came back from the camp from 8-12 June . Yup , that's right , ATC CAMP 2005 !!!!

So , as a tribute to the 24th Batch of ODAC-ians , i'll just put their names here . ( BTW , this camp is their last project in ODAC already )

P.S. I would like to thank this batch of ODAC-ians for what they have done for the past 6 months for us .

Ok . the ATC 2005 was damn fun . Now i know why Le Liang say ATC is the nicest camp he has attended .

I'll start from the first day . We all got into 4 groups , and started pitching tents for ourselves to sleep in . In the end , we only use them to put our bags ... it was too stuffy to sleep in . When we finished , we play some simple games to build up the atmosphere . We jumped down from the grandstand to the mattress , and did the fall backwards onto our friends arms . Afternoon was .. of course ... WATER GAMES !!! that was one of the must have programmes in any camp . We played a very intresting water bomb game , and all we did was have fun =) . After that , we had our bath at the PE porch toilet. My group guys , me , Chak Yong , Andrew and Johnathan Lim .. we waited till all four cubicles were empty , then started and stopped bathing at the same time . Damn cool man ... especially when you know nobody is rushing you to use the cubicle. So we took our time to bathe , and almost got late. Anyway , camp food was quite okay la ... at least it was edible. At night , we had night games. For the first night , we played mystery night . All the stations were creepy ... especially the squash court one ... and the soothsayers ( Behind the staircase of the benches behind LT 2 , Where the lockers are ) . Imagine so dark already and we still ventured into that area. I know , i'm afraid of the dark .... but then i have to force myself to go ... That night i still thought can sleep in tents , but in the end i pulled Andrew to suffer with me , and it was so hot , plus there were so many mosquitoes there.

The 2nd day was a fun , fun day. Morning PT , breakfast , and then Mini-olympics. We played rubgy , human checkers , captain ball. Finally , we had a relay , and came in second !!! wooo ... feel quite good man !!! After that , it was lunch time . Afternoon was divided into 2 parts. Our group did the vertical marathon first. We climbed up once relaxingly .. then did just one timing . I realised i was rather weak , clocking onli 2.36 for 25 floors .... i'm still half a minute away from the fastest guy in our batch. Once we finished , we go for the circut at school , did the gunnysack jumping for 100 metres , skipping for 100 metres , and this stand->squat->pushup position->squat->starjump->one stride forward for 100 metres. Trust me , it was hard at that level of fatigue we already had . Once we finished , we were supposed to fetch water 100 metres away using any means of transport . Of course , using our shirts was the best option , but we only did it 15 minutes after the event started. Finished that as well ... and our group carried jerrycans for 1.5 laps . 2 Groups with 4 jerrycans. If you want to imagine how hard it was , remember , it took 6 girls quite a long time to complete one lap . Well ... Weirong , Alex and Keqi very 'welfare' , so our circuit was much easier ... thanks to them ! haha . Once we finished , had our bath , and in the canteen toilets !!! So shoik man !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then proceeded to dinner. Our night games was about clans fighting and finding weapons . I think our group combed the whole canteen area for about 1 hour before finding ONE out of 2 weapons that were located in the canteen. p.s. it was under a seat. I shan't go into much details on this one ... although it was alot of fun , i don't think reading it would be intresting. The funny thing is that , we almost went into the soothsayer's shop , which was the clue shop !!!! arrggggg .... we could have been so close to so many treasures.

Then , we finished the game and debriefed. Following that , about 6-10 of the seniors went to tell us about their experiences with the unnatural , and with that solemn atmosphere. It was rather creepy on it's own. There were a few stories about JJC also ... With the tennis court having a self moving ball , and Squash court having a death there. And how much unluckier could i be , i GOT THE SQUASH COURT !!!!! I WAS GOING .... OMG OMG OMG ... SOMEONE SAVE ME PLEASE ....... imagine , you alone in a dark area ... ALONE !!! in one court , and of course , xiang jing also said that he heard like squash ball sounds in the middle of the night. Well , it was true . i heard it hourly , with the max at 3 consecutive hits. And to tell you , the other of my group members slept at the hall area , which was so good . If you want to know , Johnathan Lim slept in the other squash court. Zhiyao and Koksin kena the tennis court. In the end , i woke up every hour , calm myself down, and that took 15 minutes . Furthermore , the squash court was hot , and i was offering myself to the mosquitoes. I Laid my head on my shoulder , and my whole sleeve was drenched in sweat as well . i didn't dare to move as i was scared i saw something i didn't want to see , so my body was aching when i woke up. Lastly , i prayed for the seniors to wake me up asap .... i really couldn't stand it . A few funny incidents happened as well . Once , i was sleeping , then i suddenly opened my eyes . Le Liang was in front of me , and he kena shock for a while ... then he left . AND LEFT THE DOOR OPEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE . This effectively doubled my fear level , and i was even more scared now , pratically crying ? haha . Another one was at 530 , where the security guard shined his torch at me , i guess he was doing his rounds , and so ... i waved to him too .. haha .. what a cheeky gesture.

Third day , we did orienteering . I won't give much details , but by then , we were already very tired. First , we walked to the already closed Boon Lay Swimming Complex , then proceeded to Chinese Gardens , And Science Centre. We then Walked to Pandan Reservior, and took a bus to west mall . Strolled to Little Guilin for our lunch , and headed to hillview . From there , we walked to Bkt Batok nature park , then Bkt Timah Hill , And finally ... KAP . Seniors treated us to drinks , which was rather refreshing ... haha , considering the weather out there . Of course , we went back to JJ , and we were the second team to arrive. Bathed , and then dinner as usual , and then campfire !!!

Once they finished , we were rushed to the canteen , only to find 4 outsiders playing cards , and then the seniors went to confront them , and a scene erupted. Apparently we were in trouble , and Liwei and Le Liang just talked to us in the canteen . Suddenly , we heard shouts , and next thing , i needed to provide first-aid and help the seniors who were in make up wounds . Well ... i realised that after 5 min , but then just saved like a real situation , as i can get experience . After that , debrief ... and Operation Nightingale was declared ... SUCCESSFUL ! .. haha .

That night , we cleaned up , and i slept on the benches. Much better than the tents , lesser mosquitoes , and much , much cooler. But then i woke up very early , then me and bengkian went toilet and changed our sleeping venue. Slept like pigs till about 730 ... and that was so slack. We had breakfast , unpitched our tents , and revelaed our mortal and angel. My mortal , Andy , My Angel , Wei Jing . Debrief , and a few songs , Peng You And Auld Lang Syne. It was supposed to make us , the J1's cry but then it made the J2's cry instead . Some of us did cry , and i admitted i almost did as well . After that , we decided on our Committee , and i was in Admin , Only boy somemore ! .. lolx.

Once we finished , we went to JP to eat at KFC , and chatted , and i reached home at 4 , unpacked , bathed , and slept .

Haha ... damn tired now ... have lessons tomorrow , so i'll blog again another time . btw , It's already 11 Now .

(29/05) Holidays .... Here i Come !!!!

Ok ..... i'm back here to remove those spiderwebs. Haven't blogged for a long time .... guess it's because of my project work , physics , maths , chinese , Gp and econs. Basically ... i'm busy with school work ! The last week was kind of hectic .... but i'll try to explain bit by bit .

Firstly , since it's the end of the term ... i might as well sum up my term . Seriously ... every teacher has changed their ' mode ' .... and i'm now starting to appreciate secondary school life. But , i feel that i have decent results for the term. i haven't failed any ... but i'm going to ... when i get back my economics test during the holidays. now ... i have no time for leisure and whole day i'm only doing school work . after that , we have project work .... so irritating . other that that ... i feel this term is just like any other term .

Moving on to the last week ... we were all pretty busy. from wednesday , i had to study for chinese test ... 100 words !!!!! imagine my chinese standard .... it's going to be tough . then on thursday , we had the test , didn't go quite well ... but i passed. after that , i realised that GPP draft 2 was due by friday ! becamse so hectic and was nagging at my group members to complete what they were supposed to do. after that ... we had NAPFA ..... and i was so nervous .

In the end ... i got a silver ... but the class gals came and support us .... so would like to thank them for sacrificing their time to come will us on .

i feel so pathetic .... my 2.4 is 12 minutes !!! ... so i decided to go train . And i want a gold , so naturally , i would feel a little disappointed.

By the end of that , i was so tired ... and i realised that i had to do the TCA for Gp , a WHOLE integration tutorial , the GPP draft and it's 630pm and i was practically dying . But then again , i did the TCA with Hsien Wei , Alvin , and Liang Zhi . reached home at about 8 , did more work and ended up sleeping at around 11pm. The next day i woke up , my whole body was aching and i had to force myself to move , and i found that i have a chinese essay to complete in 1 hour !!! of course ... i finished it in about 1hr 15min .... and it ate into my break ... *sobs* missed one plate of mi fen already ... haha . next came physics , and mr mak was so crossed at us not bringing our tys .... hope i don't commit the same mistake again .. hahax . By then , i realised that i did my Gp TCA wrongly . i was going ' omfg ' ... and i didn't know how but i managed to finish the outline by Gp lesson. during the break , we all ordered a large plate of bee hon ... because we will miss it for one month ... *sobs* ... all added so much ingredients ... till the ' xiao jie ' there think we are crazy ... haha .

After that .... i was already dying ... and went for ODAC . heard it was a tough pt for that session ... but in the end quite slack la ... haha .... except for the monkey bar thingy ... quite tough. anyway , finished that and played basketball , got called to another court to play and this guy who can pass very well was damn good . his vision and accuracy of passes is phenomal .... and i think he can be a good player . finished playing basketball then continued to soccer ... and lost . finally i went home ... already worn out .. and found out that i had to attend music theory lesson . quite intresting this time ... and by the time i finished ... my eyelids felt like 10kg dumbells. And of course , i went to sleep.

I slept like a pig though ... and woke up at around 11 i tink . ate lunch , then went to play pool with my brother .... he left at four and i went back to have another shower. After that , we headed to JE and proceeded to marina to eat steamboat ! sat with weixia ... who only ate prawns .... hupkee , who only ate meat , siewhui , who onli ate crabstick and hotdog ... zhiyao hao chun and angela . all of us enjoyed it la ... haha ... i won't be having that experience for a long , long time. headed home and found we pangseh hupkee and siewhui accidently .... ' sorry ar ' ..... and in the end reached home at about 11.30 . After that ... slept like a pig again. =)

Today , woke up , ate lunch , revised some physics , and headed to play pool with my brother again . haha .... as i said , i'm a pool fanatic? hahax . call me for a game if you are free. ha. played till about 9.30, and found that it was about 25 bucks onli .... shared among 4-5 ppl each one 5-6 bucks .... quite worth it for playing pool at the good table for about 5 hours . came back , and find myself blogging here ... haha .

And since it's the holidays , i have stupid remedial classes. of course , i'm glad to announce that i have no classes on week 2 !!! hooray !!! only have an ODAC camp from 9-12 june. 3rd week will be filled with remedials ... and i don't understand why , but Gp common test is on 23th June ... SMACK in the middle of the fourth week . it's IMPRACTICAL .... i wanted a holiday on the fourth week and now this GP thingy comes up . great. 20th or 24th june would be a better time to do this common test.
And during the holidays , i have about 3 free weeks , or 18 days , or 432 hours , or 25920 minutes , or even 1555200 seconds . don't worry , i won't go any further. Ok , so i made up some holiday resolutions ... number one is to revise all the topics covered so far ... and venture a little into what i'm going to learn later. Secondly , i want to run maybe 3-5 times a week ? this is to train up my stamina .... i want to get a gold for NAPFA .... and my 2.4 is really horrendus .. that's my resolutions for now .

Ok ... i guess this is long enough , shall stop here for now ... have been writing for like ... 40 minutes already .

Somehow this dosen't really translate into alot of homework. Well , apprently it does look like alot , but if everthing is planned out ... i will have nothing but revising for tests on Monday.

Ok , back to these weeks events. Got back my maths test ..... a pathetic 26/30. Why do i say that ? simple reason. Hanh got FULL MARKS . That's right . 30/30 . somehow i'm a little jealous of that mark. But nevermind , i will try harder next time. Intresting point to note , i've been getting 26/30 in all my 3 maths tests. Good or Bad ? You decide.

Just got the ODAC group 2 contact list , found out that my email lacked the 88 portion. then i distributed it and James told me his 'number' was also left out. Oh well . Anyway , thanks to the person who even made the effort to do up this list.

This week has been a rather busy week. I find myself sleeping at close to midnight every night. this will make me even more sleepier in the morning, and isn't a good sign. It will be tough to concentrate in class. I also found out that the draft of the GPP was due this week. Me Guojie Alvin and Ziyun were all rushing this idea out, from wednesday, and somehow ran dry of ideas. But somehow, in one way or anther, we still managed to finish the draft with a practical and possible idea. Seriously, this took us a fulll 2hours to do. Yes . that's 120 minutes. of course , which is also equals to 7200 seconds. i won't elaborate further.

After that, i went back with weechong and shuhui to get our o lvl cert. Based on my instinct , or gut feeling , i feel the both of them can possibly be together. haha .. after that , went to see my programming juniors and of course to enjoy some air-con in the computer lab. lolx ... just realised that alot of the JJ students require air-conditioning regardless of what they are doing. this is bad ... haha . Wenliang and Tk and their gang came, and of course they went to play pool at clementi. I went home to do my theory , and then went to join them . I played rather lousily today, lost 3-5 racks ... feel so de-moralised. Oh ya , and i met a rather intresting pool player, he sort of observed me. In the end , he said -> Boy , you are quite sharp , but don't have the stroke, a complete waste. Up to now ... i'm still wondering what he means . lolx.... i guess my cueing will have to be improved.

Then , i went home , ate dinner and then have theory lessons. after that , i found myself here blogging . =)

Anyway , so busy now ... most likely i will be blogging weekly or fornightly. Hope it dosen't annoy any one of you or make you sad ... haha . I dream of the days in secondary school . I keep repeating this to my friends. ( now may be the 100th time ? haha . ) -> Last time in secondary school , we could all sit down and discuss on whether we even wanted to play basketball, then play , then rest for another half and hour , and still the the energy and time to go back and complete all the work we owe the teachers. and still sleep before 10pm .

Now it's the opposite , no such thing as sleeping before 10 pm , no time for play , except for an afternoon on weekends. All juniors or secondary school students , cherish your time in secondary school ... it was really a fun and relaxing time with everyone.

Ok . Today is an intresting date , 05/05/05 =) . We discussed about it in our f maths class this morning . Mr Sia also predicted that on 20/05/2005 , there will also be many couples getting married. The reason : how in the world would i know ?!?! . lols . Ok , speaking on the ' same date ' topic , anyone still remembered what happened on 20/04/2004 ?

Haha , bet you didn't know , or have already forgotten . It was the day when the nicoll highway collasped . Just thinking of the incident , the incident felt like it happened yesterday . that's why people say time flies . Indeed .

Oh well . Got back a couple of tests this week . wasn't too bad , except for the econs assignment . I also failed , but because miss chin added one mark to my essay , i barely passed. oh well . guess i have to brush up on my econs writing skills . Got to spend more time on econs .

Today was also the last day Huang Lao Shi was going to teach us . how sad , heard our new teacher was quite fierce . damn . i'm in for a hard time for my chinese . of course , we still did the cheng yu test , and went on with our lesson . seriously , her chinese is good for a 18 year old . oh well ... good bye then *sobs* . Oh ya , and on the subject on leaving , ernest , our dear friend is also leaving ... *sobs* . what is going to become of me ? our our PW group strength is only 4 , me Guo Jie , Alvin , Zi yun ... oh well , hope he excel in polytechnic , and has made the right decision . =)

Moving on to today's events , what a day . Pc was as tough as ever . we took 8 counts to rush to the field , in the end , ran 8 rounds . phew ... if you think that's it , think again . for lap 5 , 6, 7, 8 .. at the end of the lap , we went to our push up position , and waited for those at the end . furthermore , Mr Seah also counted , and once they reached , we did that number of push ups. After that , i was practically dripping . it was as if i jumped into the swimming pool and came out again . after that , we did 20 silent jumping jacks , then 10 oush ups , then 10 sit ups -> crunches . After that , i was really really tired . but in the end , i still survived till gp . Ms Charis took me for gp , youth and aged , a rather lousy choice , it was sooooo boring , but luckily mingxiong was there , so i had some company . =) . halfway , my eyelids were closing and i just perservere on . After that we did individual readings , and i was so unlucky as to pick the LONGEST one . i was going ' oh my god ' , it was even worse than reading the newspaper.

Once gp finished , i went for idp , and i didn't know how in the world did i keep awake for another 2 hours . and came back , diiner , f maths homewokr , and now blogging . i'm feeling the serious effect of the fatigue caused by the PC this morning , and will be going to sleep soon , so i'll stop here for today .

(01/05) Labour Day !

Ok .... just feel like blogging, so i decided to add in another post.

These few day is work , WORK , WORK ! *sigh* I feel like a work-acholic ( did i spell it right ? ) now .... friday i had theory , went to read Da Vinci Code , and was just too tired as i slept close to 12 for the past week. If you think it's normal , i usually sleep at 1030 every night , and i spend the whole night doing and catching up with all my homework. But of course , looking back at the past 2 days , i felt a great sense of acheivement. Although i didn't do much , i also wonder why did i even feel like this. Perhaps at the start of this weekend i didn't have the motivation to do my work , but then i still pushed myself and forced myself to do all the work. In all , i completed my econs essay , physics tutorial , maths tutorial and assignment , chinese lian xi 3 , and now i'm studying for my maths test on wednesday. And not to mention , i finally finished reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown . I recommend it to all readers, exciting and nice , although the plot setup was more or less like angels and demons . And intrestingly , I completed the forces tuorial in about 1 hour or so . cool man ! *smiles* =)

And just now , from morning till now , i went on a downloading spree. i got about 15 episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway . IT'S SO FUNNY !!! . i watched about 8 episodes the whole afternoon , and was laughing throughout the whole session. My brother and maid were also laughing .... wahhahaaha .... hope i did not disturb my father , who was napping . >< . Seriously , they are great at improvisation . i gotta say , the songs they sing , which was composed simultaneously , and takes about 1 minute , is even better than some songs professional singers sing. To add on , they can also act in scenes which were absolutely hilarious , and still keep a stern face. seriously , that is not an easy task.

Ok ... as today is labour day , tomorrow will be a public holiday. I'm feeling kind of bored now , and of course , would like to find someone to go out with tomorrow , or else my whole weekend will just be wasted by doing homework. Actually i planned to do some studying for the upcoming tests tomorrow , but now ... i think i may just change my mind . i need to have a lifestyle , i need to go out !!! .... but don't know where to go . Pool ? i need a partner. Soccer ? i need at least 6 to 9 more people. Movie ? need at least 3 to make it nice . what do you think i should do ? suggest ! .

Finally , i feel my blog is more open to public now . haha ... my feelings are all exposed ! oh well . dosen't matter to others , what matters is what i think or feel .

(29-04) ODAC , ODAC !!!

Wooo .... sucha long time since i've blogged. I'll do away with the murphy's laws , don't think anyone of you wants to examine it any further.

OK ! Determined not to let this blog rot , i'll take off some of my time to explain the past fortnight's events. As you know from my tagboard, i was out on ODAC selection camp, and so didn't have time to even catch up. Anyway , we went ubin , with 3 litres of water each ! guess what ? we trekked all around ubin with that extra 3 kg of water ! i was dying halfway through. i'm in group 2 , with keqi, xiang jing, alex, huimin and cha ( oops... 4got her name ) and i guess someone have to make a contact list sooner or later. we trekked ( practically walked ) throughout for 4 whole hours. by that time , i already finished 2.25 litres of water. Then , i realised that acutally 3 litres was never enough. In the end , we all had to have a water rationing for ourselves to last till the next morning . Then campfire came, all the odac-ians were so high .. guess was the amout of ogls there. we sang songs , performed our individual skits , and then was a few other intresting activities. among them was the solo singing competition. terence , abel , henry and alycia ( did i spell her name right ? ) sang . all their voices were sooooo good !!! *admiration* oh well , piano is enough for me. =) after that , came nightwalk ! all of us were freaking out , and dogs howling , with what i thought was a full moon at first . i realised later that it was not yet complete , almost , and it made the place quite bright. Mr Ang told us real life experiences to freak us out . it did work , we all were so freaked out. actually i was told to meet with some other people , but then i didn't , i was too frightened , and le liang also tell me not to . ( sry ar , didn't want to take any risks also ) in the end , i still completed it, but it was really spooky !! i could imagine the shadows being some ghost or something ... and i could picture my whole face just turning white. we finished , and told the really scary ghost stories , and then proceeded to have our sleep. at about 5 , i was woken , accidently by xiang jing i tink , he thought i was keat kee ! i was going OMG...... but then , we have the so called emergency exercise. we sort of ran to the basketball court , did some PT there , and i was already so affected by the fatigue that i was feeling a little dizzy . after that , we played some games , and headed back to maman beach . on our way , all of us did quite alot of cheering , and we also had a sort of flag raising ceremony. we ate breakfast , and then cleared up the place , unpitched the tents , and headed back to the jetty. after that , went with some group 2 members to tampiness mall i tink , had a big feast and headed home . once i reached home , quickly unpacked my bag , had my shower , and K.O. -> on my bed.woke up at dinner time , ate dinner , and then forced myself to do homework . unfortunately , i was really tired that i went to sleep again .

ok , i forgot some parts so somehow edited some part of it. haha ... well ... imagine , this is only the events for the trekking. you would have known how much fun we had at this camp.

Ok , but because of this camp , i did not do any homework for one WHOLE WEEKEND ! and on monday , i really went all out to finish my homework , and i did maths in school with hongyi. sometimes it is really better studying with your friends. test on f maths came on wednesday , and seriously , i never did any studying ! the whole while i was trying to catch up with my peers, as they have an advantage over me. so it's really work , work , work. and only on weekends that i realise that i can have some leisure activites , which is why some of the j2's like weekends. ( now i understnad what you mean ) and seriously .... i'm doomed . i did not complete the paper in the time limit , did not know how to do 2 out of 6 parts. seriously speaking , there goes my A. but looking back , i think it can be possible that i may fail. depressed now. i miss the maths mr chia taught us . easy to comprehend and i finished all the maths tests on time .... and now i cannot even complete the first test. man ... i'm in for a tough time.

OK , since the camp i went for was a selection camp , of course some people will have to go. sadly , yi fan and junlong wasn't admitted to Odac , and a few others . but of course , i was elated that i could join odac =) . it isn't an easy task .. *smiles*( for the boys ) today , we cleaned up the store because of the mess we created during our camp . we were so efficient that we completed everything by 330 , and le liang didn't know what to let us do. we had some simple PT and watch rubgy -> JJ - PJ . each had one try when i left.

Today's lessons were quite fine , i find myself listening more to mr yeo now , haha ... don't know whether it's a good or bad thing. in Gp , i PASSED MY CONTENT IN COMPREHENSION !!! WAHAHAHAHAHAH .... i feel soo good ... because of the fact that only 12 people passed in my class.... haha .. and today is mis li's last day ... poor ruixue , have to suffer already. but i must say , she isn't too bad a teacher , espcially in her econs lecture i somehow prefer hers. her lectures are clear conscise and not like miss chin , wander all over the place , and confusing people while trying to explain the concept she is teaching in a clearer way.

Okay , now i have a lot of work stacking up . chinese i have a test next week on cheng yu , then have to do lian xi 3 , the 5 ji and some competition. physics i have forces tutorial to complete , f maths i have to do mr yeo's tutorial 7 and 7A. econs i have to do some stupid essay also ... haha.
but now the most pressing thing is my theory ! i have to complete it in 1.5 hours ! just realised i have been blogging for over an hour now . And so , my entry ends here . =)

(17-04) Stress ? Nah .... Not enough time .

Ok , that's all for the 11 laws of love , now venturing into the laws of sex , hope it does not offend anyone of you .. =) .

Ok , another busy week ... which explains why i may not be blogging as often as my counterparts ... after some thinking , i realised that my four years in secondary school and my first 3 months in JJ was just a joke . Now i realised what the meaning of BUSY means . BUSY !!! In short , i have pratically no time for leisure , except for weekends . yesterday i played pool after dinner till about midnight , and during that period , i was worrying about whether i could finish my work on time or not .

Ok , since this blog is for the week , it should be quite long , and i hope i don't bore anyone of you to death . This week nothing much happened , except that we have embarked on project work , and we will be alot busier than usual already .. and the this week pc , pe and idp starts . pc was on a thursday , during our 90 minute break . i officially lost 7 kg ... ( isn't tat cool ? HAHA ) hope i don't make any of you jealous =) . Ok , the had abit of exercise , according to the pc teacher .... but that exercise left my hands shaking while i was eating my breakfast after that , and it gave me some muscle sores till today ... games for me was cancelled this week as tennis had a tournament , and so i wandered around and found myself playing badminton in the hall with some of my friends . my idp will start next week , so i won't elaborate on that .

Next , now i have alot of work piling up , it's like killing me . sometimes i just wonder is it stress that's affecting me or it's just that i have to overcome that time constraint . oh well , since i haven't really felt stressed yet , i'll take it that i need more time . imgine , those taking 4 A level subjects and YET running for council MUST BE OUT OF THEIR MINDS ! i don't know what in the world are they thinking of but i really cannot find time to do my counsel duties if i ever become one . anyway , good luck to them . speaking of the council applicants , did i forget to mention i'm in Bikilia house ? haha , Think BLACK . Cool motto eh ? haha , and on friday we had council applicants having their respective house rallies . Some look nervous , and some looked so calm as this was the upteenth time they have done it . anyway , i have more or less planned on how to use the 3 votes already , hope it is a wise choice . Ok , i also attended ODAC , and they are having a selection camp next weekend at ubin . So far we have learnt about orienteering , a few knots , first-aid , tent pitching and field cooking . they were quite intresting , and hope i can get selected . Yesterday i went back for to learn about the field cooking , and saw the council applicants having a ' bonding session ' with the fellow councillors . it was quite fun , haha ... wanted to join in , as it reminded me of orientation camp .

Speaking about my homework , maths contribute a big part of it . i've been doing mr yeo and mr sia's tutorials till late at night , as well as my other friends . the questions are getting more and more tougher , and requires more thinking . at the end of the week , i feel brain exhuasted by all these thinking . this weekend i have alot of pending homework . Mr yeo's tutorial and assigment , Mr sia's tutorial and assignment ( for those who have not done ) , econs tutorial , Gp skills package , Gp article , Chinese 1500 word essay on 5 of 36 strategies of war , Some Chinese Competition stuff , Phyiscs forces ( you can start on it ) tutorial . For those not in F maths , you may think the maths homework is rather manage-able .1 thing : IT ISN'T ! i've been racking my brains on some questions and for mr yeo's one , those are maths C questions that i don't know how to do ! i feel so ashamed ...

Other that what i have mentioned so far ... nothing much . by the way , i just got this album by Jones Shi Kang Jun - Huo Guang . not bad for a singaporean singer , and i prefer his album better to sly's one . ( no offense here ) other than that , i've suddenly lost motivation to blog on further . but then again , i need to address and issue here .

Ok , the goverment's decision on whether there should be a casino will be out quite soon . what are your views on this ? do you think it will affect the results of the next general election ?

personally , i think that opening a casino would be a wise decision , but the main piority is to make sure that those who enter will have a sufficient income or sufficient money to gamble . this will prevent more people from goin to loansharks to borrow money , or have those hardcore gamblers who are hard up to sell off their childen etc. this casino is estimated to creat 10k jobs as i read in the newspaper , and this will make the unemployment rate go down more , and give more opportunities for the unemployed to go and have a job. from the response of the society , i think that the public are not strongly on either side , so there should not be any riots and the results of the next general elections should not be affected to such a great extent .

(09-04) What a busy week ....

Murphy's Love Law 11 : Availability is a function of time. The minute you get interested is the minute they find someone else .

Ok ... Sorry for not blogging for such a long time ... i know some of you are DYING to read my blog entries =Þ .. wahaha ... but recently i just became an unfortunate victim of a very common thing now : adwares !!! ... damn ... don't try to offer me solutions , i've already used ad-adware , registry mechanic , hijack this , cwshredder already ... then when i got it ... it was so terrible ... because i cannot access alot of the common sites , like yahoo.com , google.com . aol.com .. and all those stuff ... later i used hijack this and found out that there was a redirection of these pages to some funny ip , when a webpage containing the phrase ' soon ... ' was , and luckily i removed that , or i will just die ... no search engines = no project research , my PW group members can give a sigh of relief ... wahaha ...

Another reason i'm not blogging as often now is NOT because i'm bored of blogging ... but the homework have been coming in LOADS !!! ... sometimes i don't even have time to finish all ... and it's like school till about 4 , then extra activities till 5.30 , head home , and when i'm done with checking daily stuff and bathing it's already 7 and this is not inclusive of reading newspapers , and it's dinner time , and finished with dinner and all that stuff at 8. Only then can i start my homework ... and in this week , i've finished 2 physics tutorials , 1 econs tutorial , one quater of the Gp skills package , 3 maths tutorial , 2 maths assignments ... and now i'm still left with the compulsory weekly article of Gp , when i'm going to do Euthanasia ... talked about in 2 past posts ...

Ok , whole week was practically STUDYING !!! i'm never felt so busy in my life ... and all of a sudden , i feel like secondary school life was still quite carefree ... i miss those days , and you realise , it's only when you lose something that you start to treasure it . a few other things are also done this week . i tink this week is also used to bang some sense into our heads to remind ourselves that the ' honeymoon ' period is over , and we have to be serious about our studies now ..... and introduction to some new things like PW and Spa and all that stuff ... and of course , registering for pc , games and idp is another main thing done this week . it seems like our class is going to have pc in the 1.5hr break slot on thursdays , and i was elated , thinking that there was no need to stay back for pc . but when thursday came , i realised that that break was sort of a ' common break ' where almost the whole level will be having breaks , so i guess we will have to fight for the morning slots now .... luckily i put 330 on tuesdays , so if thursday morning we cannot have pc , then i still have an avaliable time slot .. =) , and for games and idp , i followed alvin , tennis 430 on wednesday , and idp is mastering entreprenuership on thursdays from 4-6 , this two seems quite intresting , but so far , the idp , onli 8 registered for this course , wonder who they are ... wahaha ... hope it's my friends =) ..

Of course , when there is study , there is play . these past 2 days i have been slacking , friday i went to jp to get stationary with hsien wei , a nice chap from my class , then went over to the cca open house with terence and 2 of his dance friends , i shan't bore you on further , so i'll keep it short and sweet , then signed up for ODAC ONLY , sort of taking a gamble there ... haha ... and headed home . after dinner , i went to play pool with my brother , havne't played in ages ! ( nah ... only about 2 weeks =0 ) we played for a long time ... till about 1130 and i went home and just dropped dead on my bed . woke up today , did some work , before going out to watch the pacifier with jingkai , ricky and keqi , it was quite nice ... alot to do with family ties , and humourous too ... came home and just sort of slacked till now .

Haven't really read much on the papers , but 2 things i want to say in this blog . number 1 , about the pope , the re-election of a new pope is coming soon , and i just read the process in which they are going to do it , and somehow it seems familar ... when i just recalled Dan Brown's Angels and Demons ... fantastic book , should go and read . ok , i shan't drift too much , but then , this has been one of the greatest popes who ever reigned , and he did alot of noble stuff , ( sorry i couldn't recall them and type it out here ) and he had the third longest term as pope ever since year 0 a.d. it's also been said that the next pope would not be expected to be like the previous one , and in Time , they featured many possible canidates , mostly Italians , a Belgian and an Austrian ... because 20 of the voting members are Italians , and mostly likely the next pope will be Italian .. so readers , just be prepared for the pope to be Italian

number 2 , i read about the olympic hosting on 2012 , there will be 5 states vying for this particular authority to host the 2012 olympic games , and they include : madrid , moscow , new york , london and paris . imagine .... all these states vying for that olympic games .... those BILLIONS and BILLIONS of money and people .... and you know what ? If i'm not wrong , the decision on who to host the 2012 olympic games will be decided in Singapore ! haha ... may be a little lame ... but this will be intresting ... and let's see who will win it . =)

Ok ... moving on to the final section ... sigh .... sometimes when i listen to some love songs .... i just think of ....... ( go fill in yourself ) ( AND DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS ) .... is it me ? or is it the song ... now just updated the music to be Guang Liang's - Tong Hua (-1) Enjoy !

And of course ... one more thing ... friday ... with that table of fhss people , if you don't want me to mix around with you , just go ahead and say , i know i've been avoiding all of you , don't go around calling people names ... it just reflects badly on you .... that guy shoud know who ths hell he is .... sometimes .... honestly speaking .... i don't like mixing around with all of you sometimes ..... not sure of the reason ... and the outings too ... especially the sentosa one ... leaves me totally disappointed in the fact that all of you sometimes don't know how to enjoy yourselves ... if you play , don't play hard , PLAY REALLY REALLY HARD ... because it isn't going to come again anytime soon ... and going to sentosa was just a halfhearted thing to me , and without woeiluen , i think i would have just wasted my $7 bucks .

Ok .. today had to re-arrange for music theory classes with my teacher ... sigh ... i just feel that all the activities are coming back to me again ... disrupting my carefree life ... last time i had music and swimming , add another 2 cca's , how busy would that be ? ... you would sometimes shudder at the thought of it ... and take the fact that i'm doin 3 sciences in secondary school ... i had absoulely no free time for other stuff ... but after the o levels ... things changed ... i learnt bowling , improved on my pool game ... and did more exercises ... and now .... i have to sort of revert back to the old busy system ... but who cares ? i just want to finish my grade 8 theory and my whole piano acheivements will be complete ! wahahaha ... may even consider doing the diploma after that ... but i will only do that on my completion of NS ... well .. i think from now on ... my friday nights will be so much more busier ... oh man ... sometimes i just feel so down attending these classes ...

Chatted alot with Herman the past few days ... about anything under the sun ... and sometimes i wonder ... am i good enough for girls ? well ... anyone is free to answer that question ... IF you are a girl ... the tagboards are now waiting for your answer ... Note : i'm not depressed or something .. just a question ... haha ... but this question lingers in my mind ... this burning question which i want answered ... so ... go ahead and RESPOND ... ok ... thanks anyway ...

A few other big news today ... our dear Pope John Paul II (1920 - 2005 ) has just passed away ... honor to the Pope ... and as i write this ... Fernando Alonso has just won the Bahrain Grand Prix ! congrats to him and his team , Renault . haha .. a dissapointing debut for Ferrari's F1-2005 car .. in which there were gearbox and braking problems .. and this afternoon ... watchin the San miguel 9-ball tour .. the Jarkata leg ... in which Efren Reyes won ! ... congrats to him too ... haha ...

ok ... today i also did my physics kinematics tutorial ... quite hard leh ... i did till i got a headache ... but then again , if this was Jurong's Tutorial ... i shudder what to think of National Jc's tutorials ... that time i did some maths sums for Angela ... it was so hard ... had to pause for some time to think ... and of course ... left 2 more questions.... i feel incomplete ... want to just complete the whole thing at one go ... but i was mentally exhausted =) .. and just now in the afternoon also wanted to go and play some pool with my brother ... but it rained ... -.-" ... wasted ... spent one whole day rotting at home ... how time-wasting ... ok.. found minfeng's blog too ... found it a little ' not like her ' ... was quite odd with heavy metal music and some vulgarities as the title .. and if i have offended you in any way , minfeng , i apologise.. =)

Murphy's Love Law 9 : Nice Guys/Gals Finish Last.

Don't really understand this law ... put nevermind .... just put it on to complete it... haha ...

Ok ... nothing much really happened after my previous blog entry , except that i had a chat with a few of my friends who attend the orientation 2 camp ... all of them felt so good ... wahaha ... i guess it is a success .... and none of them regretted coming to Jurong JC ... which is a good thing ... at least they don't attend school with that ' Oh man , it's Jurong Jc again ... ' attitude ... i really hate those people .. might as well just appeal out and give the places to more derserving people ... Also had a talk with those who attended JJ night yesterday .. all of them felt so high ... and one intresting fact is that JJ night is one of the only time where you can shout / scream / sing out the school song ... wahaha ... and the songs , cheers and dances are just great !!!!! wahaha ... i've not regretted one bit while coming to this event ... and talked to Minfeng , an ogl in o2 , she says that the o2 jj night was silghtly better than the o1 jj night , as mentioned by the teachers in charge ... haha ... and of course ... they are just shagged out ... after all those work ... even i will Salute them !

But while this was another uneventful day , i read alot on the newpapers ... one of them included in the title ... about managers , CEOs , MPs , and all those high-posts people ... , do they do good ? like contribute to the society ? well ... to me , contributing to the society here means doing physical activities , not donating money ... so there are some stories and features about some of these people doing good ... but do the others , the elites , also follow suit ? ... in my opinon , i think some will , some won't ... because they are too busy and cooped up with their work that they neglect their role to contribute socially ...

Another is about our MM , Lee Kuan Yew , talking about a political change in Singapore , the system and how it is governed and all that stuff ... and of course this writer who was invited to debate on some key identities of Singaporeans and their special characteristics and all those stuff ... quite intresting .. but sadly .. i don't understnad some parts ... must go re-read some other time ...

Intrestingly .. after JJ night , then went home to sleep , and when i woke up today , my legs were a little sore ... must be from all that jumping we did while singing those songs .... damn .. i'm terribly unfit .... have to go for more pc's and play more games and run more rounds around the tracks .. or else when i run 2.4km .. my whole body will be sore the next day ... and i'll be like suffering for the next 2 - 3 days .... and recently got alot of new albums , Taufik - Blessings , Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway , Renee Olsen , The Corrs , Clay Aiken , Lin Jun Jie's new album number 86757 ( if i got the numbers right .... ) haha... all of them not bad ... should go get them .
but now i tink Twins is very hot ... alot of people going crazy over their new album , as it's chinese , the previous ones were cantonese .. haha .... just some music infomation =) ok .. although not long .. but still good enough for a short reading ... enjoy !

Murphy's Love Law 8 : Every kind action has a not-so-kind reaction.

Ok ... got home a little late after JJ night !!! will elaborate on that later ... but first , school today was quite good , the first part was about watching some intresting events unfold in the 18th century i.e. 1700-1799 ... it's nice but i hate answering the questions .... just watching for the knowledge will do just fine . Next programme was about masks ... and each one gives an emotion , and examples of some masks we put on everyday ... and following that ... was an improvisation show ... quite funny in a way ... haha .. a bit like a live show of ' Who's line is it anyway ? ' .. ok .. and then the session ended a little late , so we cannot watch the movie ... and went home early !!! .. went to Jp with Ricky and Jingkai to get some stuff and eat lunch ... and met no other than Yenting there ... lucky ? i might think so .

Headed home and used the computer , and at 4.50 call Bengkian , realised he was in school ... so went to have a bath and went there . saw Serena and Reena , they both were like so happy when tonight was JJ night ... wasted pretty much time chatting up with old mates , slacking till it was about 7.10 where we headed up the hall . well ... the 2nd batch were cheering much better than before the camp ... looks like the world war 3 and telematch really did something to them =) transformation to JJ-icians almost complete .... need saturday's emotional activities to really complete it .

Ok ... mass dance was great !!! wahahaha .... first time all my partners so enthusiastic !!!! the feeling is so great ... and as for the cheers i can finally shout out so hard i could lose my voice ... needed alot of water ... haha .. the singing the school song and I dream also soooo nice ... those people who never go wil never understand ... ask those who went ... weijie and apple were great mc-ees ... but .. ended kind of early ... how disappointing ... but it reminded us of our first JJ night ... what a night that was too ... lolz... and best camper i'm not sure who that is either ... but she sure does look enthusiastic ... well deserved award ... *claps*

By the time it was over ... all of us were so exhausted .... voice-less as well ... and i do mean ALL ... well , of course i'm referring to the first batch ... not sure about the 2nd batch people .. hahah ... went to eat supper with Jingkai Marcus and Serena ... met Herman , Kanhong and Senior OGL's there .. somehow most of them were patronising the same store ... and went and reached home at 12 ... so late .. so i slept and decided to do April 1th blog entry on the 2nd ...

Funny thing is ... i've not yet mentioned anything about April Fools' Day yet ... but nevermind .. mentioning JJ night was much more important ... haha ...

Ok .. moving on to this issue on casinos , the decision to be made by the goverment will be made on April 18th if i'm not wrong ... but this particular writer seems to really want it ... and show that Singaporeans can control themselves in gambling ... and show the maturity of Singaporeans .. and the trust that is given to them by the Singaporean goverment ... and recent issues that show that is the legalisation of bar-top dancing .. and a few others ... and they should continue on with more leeway with what we can do with our CPF funds .. and hope this will continue on and on .... but of course .. we , Singaporeans must also have a degree of self-control ... and of course show that we deserved to have that amount of freedom given by the goverment ...

Even if it does open ... i may just go in when i'm 21 to take a look around ... i don't gamble =) . you don't believe .. go ask my friends ... only time i've gamble was because i wanted to learn majong , and those people really wanted to gamble ... lost $4 , and never gambled ever since .. haha ... i'm not cut out for gambling .. seriously ...

Murphy's Love Law 7 : The best things in the world is free - and worth every penny of it .

Ok . today we had quite an intresting talk about 2 main things -> how NOT to lose money , and the entrepreneurship mindset , all conducted by this self made millionaire Christan Chua , and who made his first million when he was 29 years old .... after 9 years , he is still earning as much as ever , and gave us some tips on finicial literacy , of course , he also took complex concepts in the real life and presented it to us in a simple way , so that we can understand , and he did it very well too . a few important points to note for me after that speech :

1. Know the difference between asset and liability , and be able to differeniate between the two.
2. Spend what you can afford , try not to take loans as the intrest chalked up is disgustingly high.
3. Have a positive mindset to succeed.

but of course , entrepreneurs are the creme de la creme , those business plans that he came up with was more or less flawless , either that or he only shared the few successful ventures out of the thousand he thought of ... but i don't think so . a sharp and creative mind is important , and grab EVERY opportunity there is out there .... that's what successful entrepreneurs are .

now then , after that talk , i've decided to re-review the plan i have roughly laid out for the future ... have to change quite a big portion of it , or all of it in fact .... all for the good of my future .. and hope it does turn out successful then , and lead a problem-free ( financially) life .....

I don't aspire to be an entrepreneur , but after the speaker suggested so many ways of making money ... i can imagine myself with more pocket money after using his ideas . for example , but unused stuff and sell on the internet , and of course , piano tuning or teaching piano , and doing a part-time job as a lifeguard ? or even teach basic swimming survival skills ? i could even take my pokemon and magic card collection and sell it online and earn some money .. hahaha .... but then again .. i decided to focus more on my studies , and i'm going to start taking grade 8 theory , will not have time for other activities ... so too bad... have to save this idea to another time then .

actually , the things he said are quite true , and mostly it's because many of us commoners succumb to the gambiling greed or something like that that we often forget alot of basic , common sense ..... and become die-hard gamblers and in the case of jackpot machines , become robots that pull the lever down and release it up again , didn't win , slot in another coin , repeat , and this goes on till : 1) they have no more money 2) they win money , and gambled it all away again... and ... 4D and toto ... he did all the calculation ... more or less should be right ... haha ... remember , in the end , you are the one who is at a loss , the big-boys are the one who earn .

Fact : a jackpot machine can rake up to $ 80 , 000 a year , works out to $6500++ a month ... and all you have to do is buy a few machines and set up this place into a ' casino ' -> the returns are great ! but i suppose it's illegal . or else everybody will be doing the same thing .. haha

Today also celebrated Cheng Siew's birthday .. haha .. so fun siax ... we got those candles that could not be blown out ... and made her blow and blow and blow till the whole cake got her saliva ... eeks.... haha ... then when a little bit of wax was left ... the whole cake was going to be ruined by the wax ... and so Terence blew and blew and blew till he had no breath ... but finally blew it all out ... wahahaha ... poor terence .. haha ... ate the cake , luckily so few ppl , each of us got such a big portion ! haha , btw , Cheng Siew , wenlong bengkian mingyang me terence jingkai shashi and benjamin was there ... wut a celebration ! ... made the whole area outside the cafe so smoky ... was afraid of activation the smoke detector alarm ... hahaha .... still need a few more people to sign the birthday card a hopefully present the card to cheng siew asap ... hahaa ... she looked so happy after that ... guess we did a fairly good job =) ... btw .. terence almost smashed chengsiew's face into the cake sia... ALMOST !!! .... but didn't go in ... how sad....

(30-03) Efficient Singapore ?

Murphy's Love Law 6 : Money can't buy love , but it sure gets you a great bargaining position.
Ok . the blog webby was down due to some unexpected error , and so , i had to 'draft' a copy in notepad to save myself some time .

I'm Elated . TOTALLY . i got into the subject combination of my choice ! wahahaha .... me and Alvin were just celebrating ... almost to the point of kissing eachother .... poor ziwei .... she went to the other class ... feel sad to have to part with her ... but then again , she's appealing , so hope it's successful ! Jiebin also couldn'ttake it at Saint Andrew JC , so he came back , and i went to help him with the appealing process , and maybe give him some moral support .sadly , this appeal case was a little special ... as there were complaints about the transferring of school , and he may have to wait to next week when he can do an official school transfer I also saw another person from SAJC who came .... also wanted to be back in JJ .... guess the first three months DOES have alot of impact on the students ... emotionally .. when we all had to part ... it was such a sad moment ... and everybody was like .... why must this come to an end ? .... those joyful moments were one of the highest points in my life .. and really affected everyone .. even yuko ... she went ' OMG ?!? ' when Ziwei did not make it to our class ... and she immediately , with Ziwei's consent , went to have a chat with Mr yeo and begged him to recommend Ziwei to that class ....

Met Terence in the cafe , and then decided to do some physics with him .... he did get into the combination he chose , and i guess everybody was pretty happy withthe class arrangement , except for poor sinkuan ..... just realised that my physics was a little rusty , and although it was not long ago when i did physics , i do forget some of the important points needed to be noted down when doing the tutorials . Suprisingly , Mr Gabriel Lim -> my Gp teacher for the first three months , still can remembermy face ... maybe i do crap around too much ... haha ... don't mind getting him back for Gp .. after today , i think i will need to re-revise all the work covered in the first 3 months .. and now the honeymoon period is over too ... must start to get serious ..
I can't really gauge the length of this blog but i think this should be a little shorter than usual , and moving on .... i really do consider Singapore quite efficient ... 17 hours after the quake and help was deployed .. imagine ... 4-5 hours used to calm the situation ... and in these 12 hours , they managed to mobilise sufficient army recuits and immediately deployed them to Indonesia . amazing , isn't it ? imagine calling up about 5000 people in less than a day ... that IS fast to a certain extent .I'm quite proud Singapore when she immediately provided help to the quake type of help at this efficiency .... isn't easy though ..

Another intresting thing is regarding the Mrs Terri Schiavo case 2 posts ago ... about bringing moral and religious issues into the picture of this debatable topic ... as i write this ... she is dying away .... i feel so sad sometimes ... i rather use a poison injection it that person was me , and end it soon and swift . religion is a verypowerful tool that can be used in this debate and usually , it does support one side or the other . ok , i won't want to elaborate more about this . if you want to know more, read the papers yourself . seriously ... there is nothing that really attracted me to read , so it's really crap on this blog today =) ...

Lastly , finalised the birthday celebration for Chengsiew , hope she enjoy her birthday tomorrow ... haha ... after all , it only occurs once a year ... and i think she is in for a suprise .. hehehe ... don't say too much first ... after the celebration will not be fun anymore .... readers , see for yourself what will happen tomorrow .. haha

(29-03) 5Cs ..... for the teenage soul ?

Murphy's Love Law 5 : The amount of love someone feels for you is inversly proportional to how much you love them .

Oops , murphy is getthing mathematical here ... but oh well ... any doubts , approach me and all problems will be solved . haha .

Seriously , everyday is an un-eventful day .. haha .. with only lectures going on ... it's kind of getting boring ... i'm looking forward to the class tutorials , where it's more interaction and joking time ? haha ... i rather use the term , class bonding time ... dosen't it sound good ? ... haha ... today was mr yeo's first f maths lecture .... still as cool as ever .. but somehow i felt that he was a little more stern , now that it comes to the permernant batch . and all the while i thought the reason why i can fall asleep in economics lectures is because of the time ... in the first 3 months it was always in the afternoon , sleepy time just after your lunch , but then i realised , after today's morning economics lecture , sleeping was inevitable ... haha .. but jus napped for like 5 seconds ? somewhere around there ... must keep taking notes to prevent myself from sleeping ...

Still damn worried about my subject combination ... i really want to study f maths if any of you didn't know ... scared i got hacked ..... i'm begging mr yeo , sia , anybody ! i want back that combination .... *sobs* ... the thought of me leaving the combination appears quite often in my mind ... but then again ... *sigh* why can't they just have more teachers or something to solve this thing ? really feel that people who know that they are ok in maths or weak will drop , even if you don't now , you will later , after the first year .... and you are depriving the chance of other people to take f maths ... prays to the gods ... hope i can take f maths again ... * why can't the teachers freak the students out till all drop ? hahas ....

Ok .. concerning the 5 Cs ... the recent issue is that 3 of this Cs have been altered . i'm sorry to say that i forgot about the details , so go find in the newspapers ... haha ... due to affluence ? or lifestyle changes ? i can only wonder =) ..... anyway ... suprised the see the Cs changed .. i still could remember the time when these 5 items were necessary to show off your wealth .. haha .. but then again ... just for the fun of it ... i just thought of 5 Cs necessary for teenagers =)

2. Cellphone
3. Cash/Credit ( either will do )
4. Condominium apartment ( for confortable living )
5. Although may not be revelant , i suppose Clubbing/Casino ( if you are old enough , that is . )

haha , any suggestions to alter this 5 Cs is also welcome , just leave them in the chatterbox , haha ..

one more issue to go ... read about the tremors in Sumatra ? ( did i get the facts right ? ) ... after the recent tsumani diaster in december 26th ( did i get the date right again ? ) .. this tremors caused neighbouring ' un-affected ' countries ( by the tremors ) ' shiver in fear ' .... guess the face of mother nature is sometimes cruel and unforgiving ... caused alot fear among the affected countries , and other unaffected ones can also feel the ' fear ' in the atmosphere ... the aftermath effect is really great , i must say ..

ok . went jp to get some stuff for Cheng Siew's birthday ... got a few intresting things .. haha ... only me Jingkai and Terence will know ... but don't worry , come thursday ... all will be revealed ... hahaha .... then played basketball with Jingkai and played till i'm so tired now ... fatigue is starting to set in ... for those og 26 O1 and are staying in JJ , please be a little more automatic and pay $1.50 to Terence , i own him a debt of gratitude ... he was the one who provided the capital at first .. stands to lose the most if the group dosen't cooperate . oh well , your conscience will set in sooner or later .. haha ..

For those of you who are wondering what the hell does this equation means , go take your time to slowly understand it , or you can always come and ask me =)

Ok . today was mass lecture day 1 ... how boring , have anyone of you imagined or experienced the reptition of the chapters we were studying ? ... so boring , did vectors for physics , demand for economics , and ' Slaying of the GP monster ' for Gp ... what a weird concept of Gp .. lolz.. oh well , and we progressed a little in Further Mathematics .. hope i can still take the subject again .. love maths so much ... haha... i'm a maths freak , enjoyed doing maths homework to others ... haha ..

Today was a rather uneventful day ... and i ate alot too ... haiz ... gaining weight again ... have to control , CONTROL , CONTROL ... oh well .. and Jie Bin came back to Jurong JC on the account of his injured leg ... and when he saw us he looked rather happy ... guess he DOES miss the class alot =) .. went to cafe and did a few constructive activities like playing games with my dear og mates Wenlong , Bengkian and Mingyang ... i lost terribly .. 15 Bk , 14 WL , 13 MY and Me .. a pathetic 8 ... *sobs* ... haha ...

But .. today was a sort of Special day , the day where i THROW MY FHSS UNIFORM AWAY !!! woo hooo ... so happy .. don't have to put the four buttons at night and when i come back home ... much more convienent now ... haha ... just a collar pin to wear on and off. i don't mean to disgrase Fuhua , but it's really troublesome ... and some days you just have that feeling of not putting it up .. but you still have do it .. oh well ... another batch of memories gone .

Ok ... came home , read newpapers .. and this incident concerning Mrs Terri Schiavo .. about euthanasia .. for those of you who do not know what that means .. it's mercy killing .. or in leyman terms , ' pulling the plug ' . this has been a hotly contested and debateable issue .. and didn't really cared about it ... until i read this article . for those of you who are still clueless about who Mrs Terri Schiavo is , she is considered in a ' vegetative ' state by doctors , and now .... her husband has fought for the right to remove her feeding tube , where she gets all her nutrition from , and her parents are doing the opposite .... one wants to end the suffering earlier , the other party wants to give her a chance.

apparently she has been in this state for 15 years , with no progress of her condition , which is somewhat disheartening for people who have waited and hoped for a miracle... and can you believe it .. the feeding tube has been removed for a couple of days or so already , and this is the second time it has been done . ( the other time the parents won the battle to place the feeding tube back ) sadly ... this is one of the most cruel ways for kill off a terminally ill patient ..... how sad ... and let me describe the symptoms to you , it might be a little gruesome , so you might want to skip this part .

First , the mouth dries out and becomes caked with thick material , the lips become parched and cracked , while the tongue swells and cracks . then the eyes sink , cheeks hollow out while nose bleeds ... and the skin becomes scaly and hangs loosely .

Next , urine gets very concentrated and burns the bladder while stomach lining dries out , causing retching and vomitting , body temperature rises uncontrollably and brain cells start drying out causing fits ..

Ok ... sounds scary enough? i guess sometimes this is the reason why enthanasia is not encouraged .. mebbe they should find a better method to carry out this process .. as this will cause too much pain and suffering to the patient ... really saddening ... oh well .. still alot of details that can be provided .. but just a point to ponder on .... Murphy's Love Law 3 : The nicer someone is , the farther (s)he is from you.

I still can remember the time where my seconday 3 English teacher inspired me to write 12 pages of a journal entry , she said if u really want to do it .... write abt 5-10 pages for each entry , and so , here i am , doing it for my blog ..... guess wut ........... she never returned the journal for 2 WHOLE years .... haha .... so ... i didn't do any journals for 2 years .... guess that explains the B4 i got for my English >< .

Today's events were rather un-eventful .. but here goes ... woke up , read papers , and went to visit my ah-ma .. my father's mum ... and went to the temple to thank the gods or deities for the good luck i have enjoyed for the past year or so and went for lunch. Lunch was fantastic ! ... went to eat chicken rice , my father ordered half a chicken and one plate so roasted pork ... ate till i was so damn full .... *BURP*........ one of the best chicken meat in the whole of Singapore ... in a relatively 'ulu' or deserted or unknown place ... i think it's in Fu Lu Shou complex basement , and if you are wondering where it is , it's at bugis , near the waterloo street temple there .. after lunch , came back home and chatted for a while before deciding to blog yet again .

You know , my father did drive by geylang road ... saw all the food stalls ... and geylang lorong 1-30++ .... reminds me of all the rumours ...... hahaha .... sort of forgot some of them already ... but you know , it's really filled with malays .... walking all over the place .... a nice little town to be in =)

And ... after 6 long years .... i've finally got myself a pair of jeans ! ... lol ... didn't like it last time , as it was so hot wearing the jeans ..... and i will always sweat ... but recently , with all these outings .. i realised that getting one was necessary ... and happened to pass by this shop and got a pair ... haha .... oh well .... just wondering what else do i need to buy ...

OK ... moving to today's topic .... read about this elite's in Singapore , where the issue was raised to prime minister lee hsien loong last monday . since then the reviews in The straits times have been filled with all these stuff and the elites in Singapore ..... and a few quotes from there ... ' There are enough elites in Singapore to fill a few A380 jumbo jets ' ... ' the question now is not whether there are enough elites , but whether these few jumbo jets can take off ' .... and when i was reading this , i was nodding my head in agreement ... who cares if you have the talent ? Let me tell you this -> NO ONE CARES ABOUT WHAT TALENT YOU HAVE .. it's how you use your talent ... so what if you went to Raffles Institution or Raffles Girls ? so what if you found youself studying in RJC . can you make it in life later? will you be successful? will you marry and have a happy life ever after ? studying in good schools does not gurantee that .. ( btw , i'm not biased against people from raffles , so if i have offended you in any way , i'm truly sorry ) .. but it does provide a better opportunity to succeed in life ... haha .

Ok ... some other news that actually caught my eye ... one about obesity ... and since i'm fat ... i've decided to make NS my official slimming programme ... but looking at the way i'm losing weight in JC ( abt 5-8 kg so far ) ... may not be necessary =) .... haha .... but then again , i still have that tummy which i want to get rid of ... and NS is the time to do it .. when those with a bmi of 25 and above need to go on an extra 16-25 weeks of training to cut off the excess fat ... and those obese people gave us some experiences and disadvantages of being fat and all that stuff ... which i do experience sometimes .. haha ....

hmm 2 important dates coming up quite soon , shall talk about them one by one . first , 29th march , i still remember this day last year .... one of my most hectic saturdays last year .... woke up quite early .... went for the NOI programming compeititon from 9-1pm at NUS . then my dad rushed me off to a building near marina bay ... and gave rough directions on how to reach there on foot ... and had my grade 7 theory test . i still remembered ... i got lost and became frantic after 15 minutes as i could not find the building ... but then i approached this kind stranger and he told how to get there ... and luckily i got there on time ... seems like my dad gave me the wrong instructions . once i finished my theory test ... i rushed off back to NUS to attend the prize giving ceremony at about 4-5 pm .. luckily i reached there on time again .. and went there to clap for other prize winners ... >< ( if u understood what i mean ) .. and i realised that i spelled a programme name wrongly .. which cost me a bronze medal ? .. oh well ... went back a little disappointed ... but who cares ... i still pass my music theory anyway =) .. haha .. you know , if i had time , i wouldn't mind attending my saturday swimming class at 6pm at bukit batok swimming complex ... but the prize ceremony really ended too late .... how sad .... ( btw , it's a lifesaving class , not those where u learn how to swim .... duh ... )

ok . the 2nd date .. 31th march .. Chua Cheng Siew's Birthday !!! dunno whether should get the og to buy her a birthday present or give her a treat or whatever ... but at least should do something for her ... she's my og's OGL after all .... helped us to carry water all over the place during camp , and when thirsty , just approach her for some cool , refreshing water .. =) of course .. it's also the first day of camp for the 2nd batch JJC-ians .. how they DO enjoy the camp ... it's really really fun ... hahaha ... so anyone reading this , any ideas on what to buy for ChengSiew ? a basketball ? a bag ? a pair of shoes ? or just a simple birthday cake ? i won't mind people leaving ideas on my chatterbox .. thanks =)

Ok . really nothing to do , jus wasted the last 6 hours doing really unconstructive work . Played winning eleven and won a five-star computer using a mexican squad , played the pool and snooker game on my computer , ate dinner , and did some chatting with friends , and so , decided to put in YET another entry . Need some expert html help here .... i'm feeling a little lost as there i see html and my brain goes .... what the hell is this ?!!?!? .... cannot put a music clip in without changing the loading time of the page quite drastically .... and although not frustrated , i feel useless ..... how could i not know one of the most popular programming languages ? ... when i have already learnt programming ..... all those years of learning went to waste ...

Speaking about programming , just saw the question set of the NOI competition .... where my one of my junoir got a bronze medal ... quite hard you know ...... untill weechong explained some of the methods of solving the questions ....... damn ....... i'm so rusty now ..... must go and do more programming , and keep in touch .... and just to re-review my life goals , one of them is to learn c++ , a programme engineers use for programming purposes ..... it's much more powerful than the pascal i use now , and learning would be intresting =)

Ok , just now i was really so bored till i got 2 of my friends and played minesweeper flags with them simultaneously .... how intresting .......... but it does get u confused at times though ..... hahaha ..... but u then learn how to multi-task , and if it's done more often , i believe that it is beneficial to the brain , especially when multi-tasking ...... which actually happens quite often in this fast-paced world . Also played a round of hexic , got only about 57 thousand , which will bring my average down =( accidentaly bombed 3 stars together ... and sadly ... i only got 7500 for that ... what a total waste ....

Funny , with all that boredom roaming all around me , i wonder how in the world does this phrase - the night is still young .. come about .... but then again , i remembered the orientation camp .. haha ... that time we had JJ night , and once it finished , we were all so high , and went for supper .... after washing up ...we retreted to our classrooms for sleep , and half the og boys went to 1 room , half of the other went to another room . sadly , i was seperated from the more enthusiastic boys ... but that didn't really matter , i thought , we slept in connecting rooms , with only a few wooden boards seperating us ... those who don't understand wut wooden boards mean , go check out JJC's 3 floor classrooms ... it was about 1230 at that time , and lights out , ogls went back for debrief and counsellors just check our classrooms and headed down.... just then , i heard the other group go ... boom ........ BOOM .... PAK .... and you knew what was coming .... so cool ... using chairs to cheer ... how innovative , i thought . sadly , all those in my classroom were all in those sleepy mood , and all got irritated instead of cheering together .... how disappointing .... can u imagine , 1230 in the morning ... cheering so loudly ... a really classic case of ' The Night Is Still Young ' . Not only that , some of them continued chatting till 3 am in the morning ...... wonder how in the world they do that with all the fatigue from day 2......

Those were the days .... no chance of doing all these stuff all over again ...... i really miss those days ..

hmmm .... now dunno what to do ... watch world cup qualifiers ? ... feel that watchin soccer is boring ..... seriously ... only the highlights appeal to me at the moment ... u might want to say that looking at each team's style of playing might be good .... but i'm too lazy for that too ..... and i'm sooooooooooooooo hungry .... ever since the holidays , my appetite has ballooned ... luckily my weight hasn't =) ..... must cut down on snacks soft drinks and suppers ..... control , control ...................... oh ya .. just realised ... ziwei say i so 'lorso' -> naggy? hope i got the translation right ... so shall stop here? or not ?

(26-03) Life Goes On .... [ HELP ! HELP ! ]

Ok ... this is my first serious blog entry ... So many things to say on your first blog , and not sure where to start . I'm still finding the chatterbox thing , will be coming up shortly ... and trying to find a way to link up all my friends in my blog . Damn ! Although i've learned programming , html still looks like alien language to me , how awful ... still got alot of things to add on , like sum backgrounds , a music clip and sum pictures , along with a wishlist and all that stuff . Anyone who would like to provide some advice to me would be appreciated .

Haiz ... mass lectures coming in 2 days time ... still missing the first three months period ... such fun days .... and now sitting down here listening to this nice instrumental music .. makes me so .. emotional ?!!? Those images vividly appear in my mind , those days ........... there will be so unforgettable .......... hope to get into the subject combination of my choice too , heard that there was not enough space ... waste of talent if i did not do f maths ( jk ) ... haha ...

As i'm blogging here thinking about what happened in my jc life so far ... i keep recalling the fantastic orientation we had ..... such a fantastic period of time ....... those games , cheering , and most importantly , JJ night . Nobody except for the first batch will ever understand that fantastic mood and ' high-ness ' in the atmosphere at that time ... it was really a period where 800 people got crazy ... unimaginable ..... and now we are gonna miss the JJ orientation 2 camp ... *sobs* ... but of course , coming back for the JJ night , which makes me quite happy too ! Those 2nd batch ... reading this .... treasure your chance at the camp .... all of the first batch people really want to go but hav no chance ....

This entry is getting kind of long .... but who cares ? it's my first official entry anyway , nobody mentioned anything about a word limit of something around here =) As the title goes , life goes on , don't dwell so much on the past , and really continue on with my life ... but those memories ..... ooo ... wanan watch that orientation video again .... how nice ... anyway , after this period of time , we have to seriously sit down and study ..... back to the mugging days .... where it wasn't really a period of time which i enjoyed ..... but the friendship bonds create during this period of time is everlasting .... those times when we shared notes , taught each other , suffered together , had our exams together , and finally , celebrated together ...........

My god .... i'm getting emotional here .... don't see me do that often , but this atmosphere is just too good to do that , with a relaxing music , quiet envoriment , i can recall all these events ... and of course .... really want to thank the cousellors and all ogls , and the shadows ... jus saw one on friday who was sick .... how sad ... just like workhalolics ( did i spell it right ? ) they really worked so hard ... has earned my respect ... except for some of them . p.s. if some of you didn't know , i was a ogl - reject .. lolz ... i rather tell the interviewers-cum-counsellors the whole truth , rather than talk a load of crap to them and then become an ogl.

Ok ... now going to talk about these 2 days , yesterday , went to pray and give offerings to my father's dad and mum's parents and her aunt ... woke up at 615 , went and did all that , and went to adam road hawker's centre for breakfast .... still one of the best hawker's centre in Singapore .... after that , went back .. played pool wif brother from 1030 to abt 1 .... following that .... went for my JJC class outing at West Mall . For those of you from my class that didn't know , Jie Bin went to SAJC but really misses us , and asked liangzhi to organise this class outing , and that's the real purpose of it ... watched The Spongebob Squarepants Movie .. 1hr 15 min onli .... but quite funny thou , then arcade for some fun , following that , went to Jurong East for dinner .. and finally reaching home . watched Meet the Fockers at home , was quite funny =) and stoned in front of computer till abt 1230 when i went off to doze .

Overslept till abt 1.30 pm today , must be due to the fatigue of yesterday's events , and just went to read some papers. So much cigratte smuggling due to the raise in cigratte tax ... and this guy died because of a shoe... heard about that roughly from Mingxiong yesterday ... as he was affected by the delay ... Then ate lunch ( no breakfast today ) , and went to stone again . played winning eleven 7 on p/s 2 and then .... read thie book with intresting facts on our body . some of them include : Most artists and gays are left-handed ... being one myself ... found that a little shocking ? i'm the total opposite of artists and gays =) .

My brother just introduced to me this site ... gives alot of funny stuff .. haha , which includes Murphy's Laws .. will be giving some random laws for each blog entry .
